Good guys (Predators) vs Bad Guys (Penguins)

In my eyes it's Good Guys (Predators) vs Better Guys (Penguins). So freaking happy to see that result and ecstatic that this Pens team just never said die. I'll be happy with whomever takes Lord Stanley and it's not every year I can say that.

I agree, Id like to see PK or Hainsey hoist the cup

I want Hainsey to win, but I also want a southern hockey team led in large part by a outspoken black guy who gets the blood of hockey traditionalists boiling to win it more. I won't be unhappy with either result, but I really want the Preds to win this thing.

WestConf #badnwagon fans better report at NSH board. As a Duckman I went to acquiesce there and they like did the math and felt they should have Eight of Canes at this point and then they looked at CI and then at me and then again at CI and again at me and it's like a Tarot reading gone horribly wrong.

So Jordan's old team in the SCF yet again, his brother is gone, and his current team can't make the playoffs. Still gotta wonder how much he'd want a do over.

Sure, Glenwood South still sees plenty of traffic, but it's basically one street. Downtown is basically four contiguous districts -- Capital District, Warehouse District, Moore Square, Fayetteville Street -- any one of which sees nearly as much traffic as Glenwood South, and when put together, sees far more.

But again, this is what my friends tell me. I'm a Durham guy. :)

Me too, Hank. While I live closer to Chapel Hill, I spend a ton of time in Durham and my wife has an art studio and supply store there. It's pretty cool how that place has evolved. Once the parking decks are done, it will be even easier to access.

Nah, can't you see he's just boiling over to be a team leader.:amazed:

I don't care at all about PK and the Habs fans drama. I prefer Pens, just because JR will re-sign Hainsey and Kunitz. I don't want them in Canes but they fit the profile for "good leaders". But he JR could trade us Hagelin

What is the Finnish word for "Acquiesce". This is information that I now need to know.

So since our team won the cup, here are the alumni from that squad who have won it elsewhere since. Someone correct me if I'm missing anyone:

2009: Penguins (Craig Adams)
2010: Blackhawks (Andrew Ladd)
2011: Bruins (Mark Recchi)
2012: Kings (Justin Williams)
2013: Blackhawks? (I could've sworn there was someone but I can't think of who it might be)
2014: Kings (Williams again)
2016: Penguins (Jim Rutherford and Matt Cullen)

So this year, either Cullen and JR again, or Peter Laviolette.

Not an alumni, but Dumoulin was an original Canes pick and that should count for something.

Thank God Pittsburgh passed on Forsberg. I like JStaal fine, but Forsberg wearing a Penguins jersey and competing in our division with an already stacked team? :help:

Of course, we were going to take that Grigerenko kid anyways, who couldn't skate worth a damn in the NHL.

I am so done with the ****ing offside challenge. There is no way in hell -- no ****ing way -- that they knew conclusively that play was offside. They just stole a ****ing goal from the Preds.

You said it so I don't have to. But remember, according to Bettman the offside challenge is working exactly as they intended it to... so make of that what you will.

Yeah, you could totally tell that the skate was off the ice when you're looking at a white and silver skate, blown up to a grainy image, on a white background. Very conclusive
