The "Is Jim Rutherford the best GM in history" thread on the playoff board..... I have no words.

I'm still amazed by the user who believed the question marks surrounding the Rutherford hire in Pittsburgh was on account of how long he'd been "retired" from being a GM rather than how he essentially left our roster looking like a toxic waste dump.

NHL parity (or maybe it really is parody). 3 teams (LAK, CHI, PIT) have won 8 of the last 9 Stanley Cups and all of them have had 1 or more "elite" players on their team.

I'm willing to bet that in 10 or so years from now, people will be talking about how Edmonton, Toronto and one other team have won most of the Stanley cups.

Dear god I hope not. One cup win and I'll have to
think about moving. Multiple. Stanley. Cups. Will mean I definitely have to move as they will become even more unbearable.
