I'm dropping my two extras and going back to just my Die-Hard priced seats.

Don't expect to see any new STH'ers lining up at $40 a game minimum.

Something tells me the sellout streak is going to end this season

Agreed. There is no hype on this team, they are now a once great team with bad contracts and no clear direction. Are they re-tooling? If so then just signing Cammy ain't gonna get it done. It's early still, there has to be another move that can bolster the dreadful goal scoring from last season. As a new GM Blake isn't dumb enough to enter the season with only the hopes that 4-5 players will bounce back, that's not how successful teams are ran. If it was just the coach then that makes Sutter one of the worst coaches of all time and Stevens one of the best-both are false beliefs.

Sutter is probably one of the best coaches of all time if he has a roster which buys in, and is capable of playing his style.

I don't see other moves available which greatly improve this team. Blake can't unload the bad contracts. If Kopitar, Quick, Toffoli, Muzzin and Martinez don't have big bounce back seasons, this team won't go far.

Yes, the sellout streak is over. The good news is if you want to catch Edmonton, or another up and coming team play the Kings, it will cost a lot less. The bad news is the LA city council has done everything they can recently to make your driving experience on LA surface streets as miserable as possible.

I'd say I'm excited to see them play the Golden Knights at T-Mobile, but knowing this roster they'll probably get run out of the building, LOL!

The ******** the roster, the more I like their chances! They could put a painter's bucket in net and the Kings would be shut out.

Sign Markov 1 year 5.5mil. Trade Clifford and Martinez to Detroit for Tatar.

Tatar-Kopitar-Brodzinski
Pearson-Carter-Toffoli
Kempe-Cammalleri-Brown
Gaborik/Andreoff/Nolan-Dowd-Lewis

Markov-Doughty
Muzzin-LaDue
Forbort-Folin
Gravel/Fantenberg/MacDermid

Quick

Kings add Pierre Turgeon as Assistant Coach, specifically as Offensive Coordinator

Always will remember Pierre getting hammered by Dale Hunter after scoring in the 93' playoffs versus the Caps.

Even back then the Caps couldn't do ****.

The team announced the hiring of Pierre Turgeon Monday afternoon, the fourth and final addition as assistant coach to the Kings’ bench. He specifically is dedicated to an “offensive coordinator” role, the first time the team has had that position.

Praise the lord!

Good time to be a Kings fan now if you want to find bargain deals on the second hand market.

I didn't attend any games last season though, I didn't want to be bored to death live in person.

I didn't either. I usually go to their games towards the second half of the season, but they looked like crap for me to consider going. I'm not gonna spend anymore coins on this basic ass team.

I wonder if Kopitar will learn to do something different when he has the puck. His go to move the past couple of seasons is to take the puck deep, skate around the opposing net, take a big loop to the top of the circle, then pass it off to a teammate in a far worse shooting position.

Literally any teammate. Even the guy least likely to do anything with the puck.

Yep. I can't tell if he's just being a wimp, or if he's overthinking the game and trying to be a playmaker.

Kopitar is at his best when he's trying to generate scoring chances for himself which leads to defensive breakdowns that teammates can capitalize on. Contrary to what many believe he's not really a playmaker in a traditional sense.

In before "If DL hired Turgeon in a new offensive only position for the first time ever on the Kings you guys would have been pissed"
