Other teams would want him for a variety of reasons that the Kings no longer need him for. Veteran leadership, 2 time cup winner, maybe it's a rebuilding team that doesn't care what he really makes as long as he's a positive influence on the kids and keeps the other team honest?

He's beyond stale on the Kings and when every dollar counts he should be moved.

I think if another team wanted him, he would have already been dealt by now. For the time being, we are stuck with him.

I don't think so, I think the front office really likes him and doesn't look at him like some of us do.

I mean I'm of the opinion that you trade Clifford and cash in on Carter while his value is still high and build the team with young hungry talent around Doughty, Kopitar and Quick. But Luc and co think this team as is is a contender, so any moves like that aren't happening.

Who gets signed first: Dwight King, Jarome Iginla, or Jaromir Jagr?

Jagr is the most deserving. I'm surprised a team hasn't signed him just for he boost in ticket sales and merchandise alone. Kings could sell a lot of those ugly Adidas jerseys with Jagr 68 on the back.

For those of us worried about Luc's influence, it is a little bit comforting that they didn't just jump on a name in order to promote ticket sales.

Of course, it seems like he would actually help the team but they don't want to block spots from the young guys.

If they truly believed they were a contender next season, they would definitely kick tires on a one-year deal with him. They don't truly believe that so they'd rather not block a kid from playing for a year of Jagr with no pay off at the end.

At least, that's what I think.

Jagr had a 5.5M deal last year (4M base salary + bonuses). I'm guessing he's looking for something in the 4.XM range. That's probably why he isn't signed yet.

Kings are selling tickets just fine without Jagr.

I would actually take Markov over JJ.

If you scroll back I said Dwight King would start the year in the AHL or start as a try out and a few people argued back and said no way...Well, there it is...

I can't imagine a single team that watched him play last would find anything impressive about his play.

It's puzzling to me how badly his play dropped off. And I'm not even taking his offensive numbers into consideration, which was a bonus in the past. He used to be more assertive physically and was more of a tenacious forechecker. He is not the same player he once was.

Not so sure about that...

LA Kings season ticket holders who are looking at turning a profit with selling their tickets have to be terrified right now.

Based on what?

They've sold out 246 straight games.

As someone who had season seats from 2002-2014 I can tell you they are up my ass this year like crazy to get seats again. That didn't happen the last three years. I can't imagine paying thousands of dollars to watch the crapfest that's been on the ice the last few years. I barely can stomach paying time warner $60 a month for the privilege.

I notice that every time I check my Facebook feed there's an advertisement for Kings seasons seats. There never was in years prior.

Good time to be a Kings fan now if you want to find bargain deals on the second hand market.

I didn't attend any games last season though, I didn't want to be bored to death live in person.

I had seats for the same time + a few seasons, I don't anymore. I don't even have cable now, going with streams on kodi...

I love it. I've watched every movie that is out now and recently and haven't spent a dime. Don't always get the Kings stream but good hd ones are always available.

How much do you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking.
