I disagree. I would rather have a quarter than two dimes.

Doesn't make any sense. You're comparing something with exact value to something with potential value.

It's a fact. The % of these kids panning out is very low. Having 2 significantly increased your chances.

Rangers select brandon crawley. Not sure how I feel on that....

Overage D from London Knights. Lefty. Very underwhelming. Should have stayed put and drafted Reedy instead of moving the pick for magic beans and missing on better players in the process.

There are a couple of big differences between the Andersson pick and the McIlrath pick:

1) There's no clearly better player who we passed up on a la Tarasenko (or Fowler).

2) Almost everyone agrees that Andersson is a shoo-in to play in the NHL. So he's not some project we're hoping to develop.

So, it's not like the pick is some awful tragedy waiting to happen like McIlrath was. It's only disappointing because we missed out on Pettersson/Glass immediately in front of him.

Having the better player increases your chances. They passed on Reedy for a double overage LHD with no offensive game. How does that increase chances of anything?

Pass on Reedy, take the double overager

I think you are part of a crew who thinks they're smarter than they actually are. JMO.

Theres something about a pot and a kettle that fits here that I can't quite remember... I think the color black may or may not be involved

You've pulled this stunt after nearly ever draft and with almost every prospect/young player. At some point, I'd figure being dead wrong would be pretty tiring.
