@nyr2k2 , but how I see it if Rangers fail to qualify for playoffs - they all burn one year or one season who are playing on the current Rangers team including Henrik. And then some of the fanbase want to move all above 30+ and that should automatically fix things to compete better next year.
I don`t know what is worse, but if Lias is an asset they can use to try to get into playoffs - I really doubt the management in New York Rangers wait based on his ELC topic if Lias is NHL ready. One year less on the ELC is not important compare to some long term contracts and buyouts the recent years which hurt the overall salary cap more in comparison.
