Don't agree with this. He should have finish Fronlunda's season and then come to Hartford.
Why rush him?
He'll be wearing 61 for the Rangers next seasonHate the number 28 for Lias. I like 24, but Boo has it. He wore 16 for his dad until that got retired and now has 61
Imo if they think he’s ready for the NHL next year the main goal now should be to get him as much time on the small ice as possible.Don't agree with this. He should have finish Fronlunda's season and then come to Hartford.

Everything I keep reading on these boards about his skill set reminds me of Nicklas Sundstrom.
Is that the kind of player we can expect?
I think they are very different players, though I can see why people would go that direction.
Andersson's game is dirtier and has significantly more of an edge than Sundstrom. His personality is very different and I think that's reflected in the way he plays.
Andersson chirps, he does the little things to make his line successful, he's more active out there and he's shown a tendency to elevate the games of those he plays with as opposed to complimenting them.
I think Sundstrom was a much better defensive player at this same stage and was the better skater, but I think Andersson is more creative and tenacious.
Sundstrom to me was a player you put on a line to calm it down and give it some margin for error.
Andersson is a player who you potentially put on a line to give it some gas.
It sucks big time. Not just because we're losing a great player this late into the season but also because it's Lias. We love that kid.Sucks for Frolunda and their fans. Must be really hard for fans in these situations.
He wore 24 until it got retired, not 16. He wore 24 in the JWC. It would be a really nice touch if he wore it with the Rangers as well.Hate the number 28 for Lias. I like 24, but Boo has it. He wore 16 for his dad until that got retired and now has 61

RIPbut that's Paul Carey's number!
I don't know, I quite like 28 for him, makes me think of Steve Larmer
He did have some really good years in NY but you're right, could've been even more...Man, Sandstrom never seemed to fully realize just how good he could truly be.
He probably has at least one more week of rehab, maybe two. He said he just started skating this week (I believe he said either yesterday or today was his first time on the ice) and got the sling off. He's been working the bike in the meantime. Is he playing tonight?
