In other news Harvard beat Providenc 3-0 in their regional semifinal to play the winner of
Airforce and Western Michigan, which Air force is currently winning.

Forgive my ignorance with the NCAA tournament set up but what's the next step for BU now following their win?

They play the Duluth/Ohio State winner tomorrow at 6

If the NCAA is going to go through the effort of putting home town teams in these venues to get crowds in, they should really make the home team play in the second game

this is just sad watching an outstanding hockey game here with maybe 600 people in the arena

Keller is just really special.

He came down the left side, turned on the afterburners, exploded past the defenseman, cut right split 2 players, and then beat the goalie with the backhand. Just absolutely silly skills

JFK is such a Bergeron clone.... this is my first time being able to watch him besides clips. Gets me excited. He's had 2 glorious chances to score. Got stoned on 1 and whiffed on the other, but the details of his game are very Bergyesque

I guess it is a glass half empty / half full scenario today. Midway through the second JFK could have about 4 and has none. He just had his second swing and a miss near the goal crease with a chance to score

BU off to overtime again, as they get a late tying goal from Harper on a real snipe. 2-2

McAvoy just absolutely cleaned someone's clock on a borderline dirty hit as the buzzer sounded. I say borderline dirty cause he hit him at 19:59:5, along the boards about 150 feet from the net. TV guys didn't really notice it.

It's funny I've only seen him four times in two years and three of those times he was basically invisible. Must have caught him on rare off days obviously.

Definitely, though a 12 PM start wouldn't be my first choice.

Dave Starman picked Cornell to come out of Manchester, so I'll take his word that they're a real good team, but I think UML can get it done against them. I actually think Notre Dame can upset Minnesota (Minny's 5-0 record against Penn St. makes them look better than they are IMO), and then we just saw how UML vs Notre Dame ends on Friday night. I'm obviously biased here but I'd pick UML to come out of Manchester. As far as the others go:

Fargo: North Dakota > BU, Minny Duluth > Ohio St.
Providence: Harvard > Providence, Air Force > Western Michigan
Cincy: Denver > Michigan Tech, Penn St. > Union

Well, managed to get 7/8 right in the first round...figures it'd be a 2OT BU game that I'd miss. Forgot to continue it, but I did have Harvard and Minny Duluth advancing today. Hoping for UML tomorrow, and I think Denver will eek it out against Penn St.

UML game was fun today; didn't appreciate the lack of calls for huge unnecessarily dangerous hits by Cornell players like the whole last period though...they finally called one at the end, but it was way out of control by then.

Also stayed for that sweet Notre Dame upset....I've seen him in person a few times now, but Bjork was absolutely on fire today. He was everywhere, and must have played like half the game between all his PP/PK/EV time. He might actually be the real deal...I was already rooting for UML, but I seriously hope they can knock out ND tomorrow so B's can get him signed ASAP before anything funny happens.
