Nico showed a lot to like in this tourney, but the biggest might have been that he played his best game in the game that mattered the most.

Jost just took a real hard hit along the sideboards to get the puck out. Nice gusty play by him.

Jake Bean took like four shots that time that were nowhere near available. Hockey players always think "it's a little puck, it has a good chance of getting through" but when you're contested point blank like Bean was on every shot attempt that time by a massive body of armour you should move it to one of your three available options instead.

Wow talk about a bad bounce. Weak shot from the side of the net goes off the Czech player's helmet, then off the referee, and bounces right to the open area for the the Czech player to step into and shoot.

The Czechs are playing well. Disruptive hockey, as you have to play when you are much less talented.

The only Canadian defensemen who has impressed me is Myers, and he's likely out for the rest of the tournament. The rest of them haven't been good. Chabot has been ok, but he can be a lot better.

Yeah Myers and Chabot are the only two I like.

This Dylan Strome thing needs to stop. If coach wants to feed him PP minutes go crazy. But his ass needs to be stapled to the bench at ES. He's even worse than he was in last years tornament in that regard.

He's just not a very good player. The Coyotes are in for a major disappointment with this kid if they think he's going to be their future #1C

It really doesn't help when you get scraps on the PP and minimum ice time 5on5. Now he's stuck with Strome who is awful.

Canada rolls all 4 lines so he's getting just as much time as the other forwards. Strome doesn't suck but has trouble with chemistry. The fact he and Raddysh aren't on the same line when they have proven chemistry is idiotic.

Not the most entertaining game so far and Canada didn't look too good in the first.

I like it when Jost is moving and driving to the net. Not so much of when he backs off and has his stick in the air looking for a one-timer.

Y'all talk about Strome but I think Dubois has been almost equally disappointing.
