Oh man, I like that very much. 3rd interception for him today. Hope the Redskins break the bank on him this offseason.

Who needs Barkley when you have two studs like Orleans Darkwa and Wayne Gallman at RB?

It was pretty spooky that the very moment I hit post he threw that third INT. Couldn't have timed it any better.

2nd pick of the draft. Yay! Who would've thought this in the beginning of the year?

3-13. Just a few more losses than I was thinking in August

2nd pick. We did it, lads. We've achieved the ultimate suck in draft position watching. I will tell my future children about this outstanding Giants season.

In a perfect world Davis Webb is our future so we could draft Barkley and then next few rounds drafting OL men. It would be so fun having a RB that can go for 80 on any touch havent had that since Tiki.

Barkley
OBJ
Sheppard
Evans
And totally revamped O Line sign me up.
Plus getting healthy
Our offense could be scary good

They should have played Webb these last 2 games. Now he is basically a wasted pick.

He's an OC. Shouldn't be a HC.
Yup, but Cleveland is gonna Cleveland.

I just don't like taking an RB that high these days. Teams mostly use a 2 back system and these guys are bigger and breakdown earlier. You expect about a 4-6 year period of them being good and that is all. I think you'd waste a good half of Barkley's prime waiting to fix the OL and prime another QB. I think they're going to trade the pick to Cleveland TBH. I'm not sure the return but no doubt Gettleman's first request is gonna be Kizer which will be shot down but if you're Gettleman the discussion starts there, you always ask for the biggest piece back to start things off.

Giants have requested to interview Eagles DC Jim Schwartz, Patriots OC and DC Josh McDaniels and Matt Patricia, and Panthers DC Steve Wilks so far. I’d love McDaniels here personally.

I agree on McDaniels. Our play calling has been so unimaginative for ages now.

You aren't drafting three offensive linemen. That's an awful draft. The only way that works is if you trade down to collect picks.

Who said 3? A few means 2 . If they have 2 studs they like in 2nd and 3rd I have no problem with them going Barkley and 2 OL for first 3 picks

A few is three (or more to some).

A couple is two.

Also, there is only one stud OL in the entire draft (Nelson). The NCAA is not producing stud offensive linemen at all these days. It's yet again a sub-par group of them. But that's the current game. We have an average offensive line. That should help show how bad the current group (league-wide) of offensive linemen actually is.

Mayfield didn't give any high-fives and just ran off the field? I can understand it, empathize with it as a human... not a great look, though. Leave it on the field. That's a life lesson you really should only have to learn once. To be on the receiving end of someone who "doesn't respect the game" is, well, uncomfortable... unless it's mutual (Avery/Brodeur).

Draft Rosen or Barkley (mostly because I really like him, added benefit to watching Jon meltdown in this thread ;) ), or trade down. Swap picks with the Jets so they can get their QB.

I'm fine with Barkley in a trade-down. Would be utterly moronic to take him at 2 when there will be teams offering bounties for a QB if we aren't going that route.
