Don't love him yet as a player but Jake Bean has to be the cutest hockey player, name and all. Just seems like a nice guy. Hope he continues to develop and has success.

And perhaps plays in his forties, leading to the nickname "Old Bean" being thrown around. In all seriousness now, I'm actually interested in Team Canada this year with our young players on there and on Team USA. Can't wait!

Sorry, haven't been following the WJC this year. Did Ethan Bear come anywhere close to making this team?

Don't like the forward lines, D pairings look good tho.

I'd go with:

Dubois - Strome - Gauthier
Jost - Barzal - Raddysh
Joseph - Roy - Speers
Cirelli - McLeod - Stephens
Dube

Nicolas Roy and Julien Gauthier spent time playing together in camp/preseason for the Hurricanes and both are from the Q, so that should add some comfort level for them. That's going to be a heavy line. I like Jost in that spot to add some creativity for all the room those two are going to open up.

I'll be watching out for the coaching in the pre-tournament game. The summer games were coached like Dave Lowry, overplayed his top players and the break-out was terrible. Ducharme had some concerns on here from me including after the summer camp, let's see how he does in a exhibition.
