Because he's effective as a bottom pair defender and he's fairly cheap. We don't have a replacement waiting in the wings yet, Cernak needs a couple of years and I'm not sure how Blujus is sitting with the organization after what Groulx did to him.

None I'd rather have play the kids we went what 20-5 the last part of the season?

Who are they? Dumont? Gourde? Peca? Bournival? Erne? Because I don't think they can altogether hit +30 goals like Oshie can by himself. Gourde is good but he's not the answer to our top 6 woes. We need somebody with some size and none of them have it. Marleau and Oshie aren't midgets and they don't get run over. Neither does Radulov for that matter. If you're considering running AHLers or giving a contract to one of Radulov or Oshie, I hope you pick the second option of signing a free agent cause most of those kids have limited offensive abilities. We desperately need to land one of these better FA wingers or acquire one through trade. If not, this board ongoing to implode when Killorn is our 1st line LW for 82 games.

Both have pros and cons. I'd take both but considering Radulov has some unrealistic demands after one season back in the league tells me pretty much everything about his current situation. Any GM would be foolish to give him more than 4 years. I would rather have him at 6m for 3 years. Anything more is asking for trouble.

On the other hand, I don't think Oshie is looking for as many years but he'd fit here. Not sure if we would get the same out of him that Washington does. Our PP would have to be tinkered with to set him up in the slot, something we execute maybe 2 times all year.

I like verstegg I think he would fit in well on line 3! we are not getting Oshie or radulov your dreaming we are not spending that kid of term and money. All though I'd take oshie over radulov remember oshie is a shoot out master ! Would help us there!
