for the right price i would love chara on this team. I think it would help influence drew in a positive wayI did like the Chara and Kopi bromance during the World Cup of Hockey.

Martinez is good enough to bring in two players? Why do people say he's unable to handle more ice time then? Visnovsky had more points in the 3 years prior to going to Edmonton than Martinez has in his whole career.
It's always funny when guys like Muzzin and/or Martinez are the key to getting the missing players they need. We endlessly complain about Muzzin, and Martinez can't handle a larger role, but other teams will give a bunch of stuff for them.
Someone asked for a trade like the Lubo for Greene+Stoll. Martinez is the older Top4 Dman being traded for the younger bottom pairing Dman and Center.
Bjugstad (over paid for his role) and Petrovic (struggling with more mins) are in need of a change of scenery trade. Florida is looking for another Top4 Dman which Martinez fits the bill.
They aren't the missing pieces the Kings need but they do fill a hole or two. Really the only needs the Kings have is a Top4 RHD (Trouba) to take some minutes off of Doughty and get healthy (Carter).
Hate to see Martinez traded,he has grown on me over the years with timely goals in the playoffs.Muzzin not so much.I was hard on Martinez back in the day when he was about to be extended, didnt think he would be a top 4. He proved me wrong. But he sure as hell is no Lubo.
Muzzin not Martinez and a pick and prospect is what's it's going to take. Will have to thrown in another player like Dowd/Ladue depending on the player or players coming back.Martinez isn't probably going anywhere.Someone asked for a trade like the Lubo for Greene+Stoll. Or Merschfrom eklund
Also, the Canadiens are getting tons of calls on Max Pacioretty, but I am told most offers have been "borderline ridiculous." The one exception being the LA Kings...The Kings put a "top quality D man + a serious big forward prospect" on the table...
so martinez and auger?
Amadio makes the most sense going to montreal imoOr Mersch
Unless of course they’re talking about Vilardi, Amadio or JAD
yes i know he rarely gets things right but i still think its worth a discussion to see what people think of itIt's Eklund, nuff said.
i think your really under estimating things like eklund said if most offers are ridiculously low a offer of martinez and amadio ( who would step in right now 2 or 3 c with potential to move up) A lot of so called contenders can t afford him till later in the year or may be scared off by his playoff ghost appearancesRegarding any potential Pacioretty deal for the Kings, I don't think the Kings have the assets to acquire him if there are other teams who are legit contenders interested in making a deal for him. I think to garner any interest at all the Kings would have to include Amadio or Kempe + a 1st round pick in the deal.
Other teams like Anaheim, St. Louis, Columbus, for example can probably beat anything the Kings would offer.
Yes, I discount almost everything Eklund says, and as teams start to think they have a shot at a cup, the bidding for a player like Pacioretty will heat up. For a team which thinks they have a legit shot this season, Pacioretty is a very attractive player, signed to a reasonable $4.5M cap hit for only this season and next.i think your really under estimating things like eklund said if most offers are ridiculously low a offer of martinez and amadio ( who would step in right now 2 or 3 c with potential to move up) A lot of so called contenders can t afford him till later in the year or may be scared off by his playoff ghost appearances
Maybe there is a locker room issue and want him gone asap ? Personality clashes are a solid reason that none of us know about. Yes your right it could heat up but also could be meh because he may not fit long term If said team has a winger looking at being up with the club next year He would block said winger. Look at what bishop got traded for No one would have guess that but it happened . Never under estimate what a player trade value could be lower then u think . Also martinez would be a top 4 defense man there and a young center on elc contract has more value then u think. I don't see other clubs beating that to be honest.Yes, I discount almost everything Eklund says, and as teams start to think they have a shot at a cup, the bidding for a player like Pacioretty will heat up. Why would Montreal care if it's now or later in the season? Their GMs job should be to get max value in any trade for him.
one more year after this signed 4.5 millionI dunno...He is a consistent 30-goal scorer.. What is Pacioretty's contract like?
hm. We do need a producing LW. This would be the kind of move the Kings need to make if they're consider themselves a playoff team.one more year after this signed 4.5 million
I agree but it would suck to have to move Iafallo down and Brodzinski out of the lineup but i think it would look like thishm. We do need a producing LW. This would be the kind of move the Kings need to make if they're consider themselves a playoff team.
