We need Mitchell to win face offs since Kempe is so weak on them.Kempe will probably be moved to wing when Carter comes back anyways.
Then we have this great click bait thing from NBC:
If I'm Dustin Brown, why am I going to continue to try and throw hits when it costs me thousands of dollars? Asking for a friend.
our biggest need is a 3rd line center that can fill in the top 2 lines and not look completely lost for a short time. we would probably settle for a forth line upgrade.... we also are looking for a top 6 lw if you are too that one is out. imo we could also use an upgrade on dee.....as far as cole goes he a solid defense man with a good first pass, skates well, can play any where...best when paired with a more offensive d-man or could be used in a shutdown roll.....he's the kind of guy any team would want to add at the deadline, so I don't see us moving him....there were rumors that he was on the market because he and the coach were butting heads and was benched for a few games. but he is back playing and doing well. could be just showcasing him, or they kissed and made up. our best winger that I would be willing to move is sheary not because he bad, but I think he would be the easiest to replace but he a right wing. so the only thing left might be a minor trade that we might be able to flip for what we need from another team. other than that we have some 3rd -4th liners, "b" prospects that could be moved .......and we are loaded at goalie with good young kids jarry, desmith, gustavsson.I agree the pens and kings are not good trading partners. Yes i believe your scout was at a ahl game of ours lately. The Kings are ideally looking at a top 6 lw or/and a top 4 defense man . As talked about elsewhere on the kings board the only thing i see is that makes sense is Mitchel for Ian Cole and 4th or 5th As for ur other question nhl ready prospects Mersch Auger MacDermid Oscar Fantenberg There is also Moulson who is playing really well in the ahl 29 points in 26 games. Also i may as well ask what the Pens are looking for maybe i can find a fit that way
Now they're using Burrows kneeing Hall as an example of why he should've gotten more.
Less taxable income?

The only thing Brown has really done to impact a game since Dec 21st is the Pittsburgh thing, and this Tampa thing. Maybe screened a goalie on a PP. He's got 1 PP point since Nov 14th, with the 3rd most PP time since that day. And he does screen the goalie these days, unlike the last few years. You'd think he would pick up a stray point here or there, but no.
the center u need from us is nick shore He can play up on the second line and not look lost.
That's not a good hit. You know it. You can't skate straight at a guy and not expect him to veer off. Skate on skate or knee on knee, it's a dangerous play. Brown got what he deserved.
Is there a big difference? The job of the player safety office is to minimize the occurrence and impact of dangerous hits. This is a dangerous hit. Sergachev was fortunate to escape without major injury. You can't convince players to avoid knee on knee hits if you can't convince players to avoid playing chicken like this. And this is coming from a fan that has enjoyed watching Brown demolish opponents with open ice hits for over a decade. I get what he was trying to do. He's just going to have to get out of the habit of still going for the hit when he's gonna miss. But knee on knee and skate on skate are two completely different penalties with two completely different likelihoods of injuries. Yes both are stupid plays but there's a big difference between a stupid trip and a major with a game suspension for a knee.
