The Flames beat a watered-down Ducks team to end their 53-year losing streak in Anaheim.

Impressed with the Leafs. They might be the real deal if they can clean up some of the defensive lapses, but wowza at that offensive firepower.

Matthews line was against Keith, Kane and Seabrook almost all night. Didn't give up an even strength shot against and had like a 86% corsi. I have never seen something like that from any of our lines

Honestly it's tough to for me to be impressed by a team that is as porous as they are defensively. Sky high shooting percentage through 3 games is going to even out as the season goes on and they don't have the horses on defense to be the "real deal."

okay. Are you suggesting they won't be a top 5 scoring team again this year? Because I'd argue they'll likely be the top scoring team. If you watched the Hawks game you would see what a team with 4 good lines can do. And the defense isn't as bad as people say. All three Hawks goals last night were 'flukey'.

First goal: Rielly was hooked by a Hawks player while trying to cut off the guy going around the net. Guy just throws it on net off a skate and in.

Second goal: Gardiner tried to send it around the net and it hit the goalies stick. Puck goes 2 feet in front of goalie and he has no stick to poke it away so its an easy goal.

Third goal: Point shot on the PP off the boards for a tap in on the other side of the net.

Complete domination by Toronto. The score didn't indicate how dominating it was. Could have easily been a blowout.

They aren't going to score 4+ goals a game obviously. But the games early in the season have had one thing in common: good luck trying to line match them and give em any space.

I'm sure they will be a high scoring team. But they also suck defensively. Which is going to prevent them from being a top team.

Habs lost again

They have four goals in four games

They replaced Radulov and Markov with Hemsky and Streit. What did they expect ?!

They also are running Drouin as their top center. Which hasn't been awful and he has been good at faceoffs so far.

Team just cannot score.

We should of tried to grab Neal in the offseason. Guy knows how to score. Plain and simple.
