...that means Toby Orr, Carl Söderberg, John Klingberg, Patric Hörnqvist, Rakell and Wennberg, or maybe a russian vet...which roughly translates to numero ocho (eight) and demotion for the next World Cup (of hockey) for you guys, junior goalie and no role players (basically four third lines)...maybe for make benefit of a european U23 team....Trump vetoing a mexican on the team??

Even though 2 possibly 4 of my Flames are on this team, I still think it's a stupid idea. I mean Johnny Hockey is arguably USAs second most dangerous forward and he doesn't even get to play for them.

They present this as best on best but it's really not. The USA team is weakened.

If you haven't been watching it must be said Vincent Trocheck... 4 point night last night.. can play in all situations and play center (good on faceoffs) or wing... His speed, quickness, tenacity, and skill is worthy of being on this team.. People will love this kid

I hope Trocheck and Galchenyuk don't make this team, so USA can select both as they would be welcome adds imo.

Hell they should put those two and Reinhart back together. As of now none are even in.

the latest results are being a testament of how strong this team will be. Scheifele and Galchenyuk on fire and they are not even on the roster yet. In todays game between Arizona and Calgary, all of the 5 goals were scored by players eligible for this team. 2 goals by Bennett, 2 goals by Duclair, and one by Monahan. edit: not true anymore as TJ Brodie scored, but you get the point

I'm telling you, this team will be good. Imagine Galchenyuk - Nugent-Hopkins - Scheifele as a third line. That's pretty, pretty good. Just look what Scheifele did tonight again. What a player. 24 points in last 20 games.

Jenner is one of your hardhat guys you need. He has 29 goals this year, has actually matched Brandon Saad's production and is a big body.

For me, only 4 forward spots available. Jenner takes one, Galchenyuk another.

That have 2 spots for: Domi, Huberdeau, Scheifele, RNH. I dont think Duclair and Reinhart would be in contention at this point
