Couturier will be on it. Played an important shutdown role in last Summer's World Championships. Will be used heavily to shut down opposing teams top offensive line as that's his job at the NHL level.
 
I'm interested if Huberdeau makes it. I don't see him as a lock personally, but can't go wrong with him.

Have you seen how good this team is going to be... He looks great but he isnt going to get a sniff here.

I would've taken Huberdeau over Miller but for the rest it's okay, exactly what I expected

1st year defender, outside of Ekblad they are all going to be entering their 4th season next year. They are going to want more than a 40 game sample size at the highest level before he gets one of the early spots.

I know it's a small sample size, but Ghost has already outperformed the career highs, offensively, of any of those guys named. It's not like those guys are studs on the defensive side, either. IMO Jones and Murray, particularly, went ahead of him based on name and prestige.
 
I know I'm and Oilers fan, but how the hell does Nuge not get on the first 16 player roster?

The coach and GM are from the Oilers??

He's never played it in the NHL, but I have a hard time seeing him not being able to play it effectively. He's a very smart player, forechecks well/is a good puck thief, and is defensively responsible. I could see him playing centre over Monahan though who is not a very good 2-way player, and could probably slide to the wing better with his shot.
