The D and G on USA blow the U23 team out of the water. The forwards on U23 are much flashier, though, for sure.

I guess Abdelkader is there because they needed a leftie forward, the US has a huge overload of righties.

I don't think he's worse than Foligno, Nelson, Dubinsky, Kreider, Lee etc.
