This is my opinion:

Markström: 4

Karlsson: 3
Hedman: 3
OEL: 4
Hjalmarsson: 4+
Ekholm: 3
Stralman: 5

H. Sedin: 4
Eriksson: 4
D. Sedin: 4
Bäckström: 3
Forsberg: 2
Hörnqvist: 2
Landeskog: 4-
Söderberg: 3+
Rakell: 3+
Hagelin: 4
Krüger: 4+ (in his role)
Silfverberg: 4+ (in his role)

That's pretty generous if its out of 5...I would generally give lower scores, but ok, if you put in to context that it was the first preseason games for those guys, it was overall a good enough game.

for all we know he could be the guy they want but since the fact that they already in dc, johannson just makes sense

I sure hope not Johansson isn't a very good hockey player compared to Nyquist, Zibanejad or Rask

This would have been an interesting team:

Forsberg - Bäckström - Zetterberg
Sedin - Sedin - Eriksson
Landeskog - Steen - Hörnqvist
Hagelin - Krüger - Silfverberg
Söderberg or Rakell

Hjalmarsson - Karlsson
Hedman - Stralman
OEL - Lindholm
Klingberg or Brodin

Rakell has that game breaking ability that not many of our forwards have. Nyquist has it too so he would be my first choice, would be very happy if Nylander got the call as well but that's not going to happen.

I wish to see nylander, but grönborg is too proud to select someone like him.

Call me crazy, but I want Arvidsson to take Rakell's spot.

He's extremely underrated, has elite speed, goes into the tough areas and backchecks like a mad-man.

Or just call in him, Zibby and Nyqvist - let them all play against Europe and then choose whoever looks the best.

Why are Swedes made of glass when it comes to international tournaments? I doubt Sweden would have beaten Canada in Sochi, but our three best centers were out, Zetterberg, Sedin and then Backstrom. When healthy I really believe Sweden can compete with anyone but we do not have the depth to replace key players like Canada and to some extent the USA and Russia do.

Sedin was injured before the Olympics and had to pull out last minute

All teams have problems. Canada lost Stamkos and Tavares for that tournament, obviously Canada had more depth to compensate.

Article says that it is abdominal plains. He had pains yesterday already and the conditions have worsened during the night.

Possible Appendicitis?

That isn't possible in this case. His appendix ruptured around April 1st of this last season. It could absolutely be related to that. Maybe a complication, after the fact. It happens, and hopefully he'll be okay, and he'll bounce back soon.

That's a shame. I thought Rakell looked pretty good. Hope this isn't too bad, and he's healthy when the season starts.

Wonder when those old merits are going to be be old enough....

And I wonder what Nyquist is thinking.

Not that ****ing pylon again dear ****ing god give me strenght he constantly turns down WC invitations and he is virtually ****ing useless you might as well pick a 6"3 bag of ****ing sand God ****ing damnit.

So, are we to guess you aren't happy with the choice?

No Berglund was literally the worst case scenario for me. He lacks talent speed and hockey sense. He turns down the WC despite not being injured.. It's just.. Bad
