Larkin is a big add for the US.
In a few days I expect Coyle, Zucker, DeKeyser, Gostisbehere to all be named to the team once Minnesota and Philadelphia are eliminated. Getting one of JT Miller and Kreider would be big but both are RFA. Hopefully one decides to go. If Florida can come back, Nelson and Leddy would be strong candidates to join. Those additions would instantly make this much better and a lot of fun to watch.
Maybe my dream of a Canada v USA final is not dead yet. Couple more key additions and the team(s) could do some damage. fingers/toes crossed.

Why did Galchenyuk decline?
Also - Ghost is available.
Set your watch to the annual complaint. "The US sends a garbage team to the worlds again". Was said last year, the year before and finally another annual pilgrimage.
Doesn't look like Alec Martinez has every played for US hockey. He would be a nice add.
Wouldn't mind Trocheck and/or Bjugstad if Florida gets eliminated tonight.
Bjugstad left the last game after crushing into the boards in OT, didn't look good - edit: didn't travel to New York
I hope he will be ok and wish him the best. I think one of Okposo/Trocheck could be a possibility from this series

The Rangers have a lot of players who could be picked.
McDonagh, Stepan, Kreider, Miller, Hayes, Yandle. The player I'd really like to see on this team though is Brady Skjei. He ended the season so well for us, I really think he's going to have a big season next year. He's an elite skater, and that should be good for the big ice.
Yep
He, Mathews and Connor better score like 50 points if we want to medal.
Now maybe we get lucky and grab someone like Miller, Stepan, Kreider or Hayes.
wouldn't mind seeing Nashville getting bounced and getting Craig Smith again - not sure his contract status, but dude always looks great in a US sweater
realistically we will see Skjei and Miller at best from that group IMO...Hayes had a rough year probably take a break. Miller is going to play for the u-23 team but like Larkin I think still wants to finish a strong year.
McDonagh will not come no reason to, same for Stepan.
Yandle is a free agent no?
Kreider is the ultimate wild card, would love him but not holding my breath for him.
Luke Glendening and Danny DeKeyser have both been invited. No word on whether DeKeyser will accept but Luke Glendening is getting checked out by doctors(Played with sore foot in playoffs). If cleared he'll accept invite but doesn't sound like he will be cleared. Hopefully DeKeyser ends up accepting invite
Red Wings tweet their WC players and Larkin was only American. Gostisbehere, Coyle and Zucker is maybe best players who possibly join this team. Some reason i think VandeVelde is good guess.
