This players already cut

Varlamov (groin injury)
Yakovlev
Yakupov
Tikhonov
Semin
Galuzin

Radulov have injury, high possibility he's will miss this tournament.

per Znarok:

Yakupov - foot injury

Syomin - back injury

Radulov has a minor tear in the groin.

This is just a reamarkably bad roster we now have on our hands.

edit: I still want to know what CSKA payed Znarok to put all those offensive superstars on the roster

Panarin-Shipachyov-Dadonov line is confirmed by Znarok, also Mozyakin and Datsyuk will play together.

Four spots not counting a 3-rd goalie spot I guess, since otherwise the sum isn't 25.

It is 4+goalie.

1 D spot for Nesterov or Orlov

3 F spots for Malkin or Ovechkin - Kuznetsov + Tarasenko or/and Kulyomn or Kucherov - Namestnikov

Ideally it's

Malkin - Tarasenko

Namestnikov - Kucherov

and Nesterov.

That would let us rest Radulov. As mch as I want to see him play he has a complicated injury and no contract. Losing 3RW in one day hurts, butTarsenko and Kucherov could make this trouble go away.

And please, pretty please, no Znarok's favorites. I still can't belive Galuzin is not on the roster.

According to Datsyuk, if Radulov will be healthy, he will play with him and Mozyakin.

I know Russian fans will come out and support the tournament well.

I doubt that. Russia has been the host country twice after the dissolution of the Soviet Union and both tournaments were letdowns attendance-wise.

no yak? he must be pretty bad not to make this team. thank you to god for the absence of tikhonov in the final roster, but plotnikov bribed the beaver and made it, i see. that's no good, no good at all.

As far as I know Russia NT games have been already sold out.

I kind of doubt that all the other candidates like Telegin, Averin, Sannikov, Lyubimov, Andronov are that much better than Plots.

No way that this lineup can stand up to the pressures of really good teams (e.g., Finland, Sweden, Canada). Add-ons are usually too little, too late. What is really noticeable this year and last year are the number of players with little injuries that are dropping out. Or is that just Znarok's face-saving way of cutting players? Last year, Znarok proved that he cannot win without superior talent. He was totally outcoached at every level, but particularly in the GMG.

Artyom Anisimov

do not miss
Nail Jakupov
Alexander Semin

Bobrovski
Sorokin
Shestyorkin

Denisov - Zaitsev
Yemelin - Marchenko
Antipin - Chudinov
Voynov

wait Bereglazov

Panarin - Shipachyov - Dadonov
Mozyakin - Datsyuk - Radulov
Averin - Burmistrov - Apalkov
Sannikov - Kalinin - Plotnikov

wait Andronov, Telegin, Lyubimov

Radulov is definitely out of the first game, but Znarok is ready to wait for him until the quarters, so I guess he is also a candidate for those 4 open roster spots.

As far as I know Russia NT games have been already sold out.

Obviously, but I am more concerned about how will the tickets to games not involving Russia sell. The past two tournaments in Prague and Minsk were great in that regard, a game like France - Germany had an attendance of 15k.

I think he might have been talking about the other teams games. The visa thing might be too much of a hassle to attract foreing hockey tourists.

The Finland games in Saint-Petersburg are almost completely sold out.

I may be wrong but I guess that WC and FIFA WC are visa-free if you have tickets.

Not at all. Had to purchase 5 visas in excess of $1000 for my family to attend in Petersburg. I had purchased tickets well in advance of my visa application.

Should be visa free for fans with tickets.

Overall the visa is preventing tourists from coming to Russia in general.

Read the thread. Most players you miss are injured. Markov plays a diva a stays away because of a child birth. I don't want him anywhrere near the NT again.

When you are talking about Yakupov and Semin you don't know what you are talking about. Both would be a huge help to this team if healhy.
