He's a better fit for Tuchel IMO than Klopp.

All the other 'twists' I guess you can make sense of, in some way, but how does this make sense? Gotze became a star, and played his best football, under Klopp. If anything moving to a Tuchel/Guardiola style team only hurt his stock. It certainly didn't prove any kind of a better fit.

He failed to break through at Guardiola's Bayern, which, as I constantly and in vain tell people here, plays very differently than Guardiola's Barcelona. Really obvious and far higher focus on wing play and breakthroughs through dribbling than the central focus of Guardiola's Barca. But the people who insist Guardiola is a rigid or dogmatic coach refuse to recognize this.

Talking about goalie.

This has to be the first priority under Klopp. No way this team will ever be back at the top with Mignolet as the keeper. Never.

Are there any rumored targets?

Nothing solid yet but expect to be linked with at least a half dozen Germans

I for some reason don't think Klopp rate Sturridge that much at least on him staying fit.

As for Gotze he has showed his worth under Klopp before. I could also see the unthinkable (for most liverpool fans) that Coutinho could leave in the summer if LFC does not qualify for the champion league and Gotze as the replacement.

I don't think Coutinho leaving is unthinkable at all.

Worst case scenario? Yes.

Unthinkable? No.

At least it would be a great ROI.

Di Marzio saying that Juve is pessimistic about signing Mkhitaryan. Says that according to Raiola, Mkhi's agent, Dortmund has made Mkhi a "super" contract offer. :)

The Guardian says Watford will explore summer moves for Joe Allen and Jordan Ibe.

They've also already got Jerome Sinclair from us.

Should be noted Watford's owners also own Udinese and Granada, the former is where LFC target Zielenski is currently playing. His contract is up in the summer, I wonder if this helps us in any way.

Sule to Dortmund this summer according to BILD.

All of the Dortmund pundits have been predicting he'll slot in for Hummels very, very well.

Which pundits? I like Süle, but I don't share their optimism. He's a level or two below Hummels in coordination and passing.

Anyway, Kicker denied the report and said Dortmund is not after him. Merino, Bender, and possibly Sokratis next to Hummels would be a much improved group for Tuchel's purposes, assuming that Subotic indeed leaves over the summer. I suspect Ginter might be out as well.

Kicker is also reporting that Dortmund is growing in confidence that Hummels will renew his contract, and it's out of the question that Hummels will go into the European championships with his future unclear.

Isn't Hart better?

Now? Its probably pretty close, maybe a slight advantage to Hart, but its not a huge difference. MATS is younger and has more potential.

He's good enough to start for a top team in the world, not that Man City is one of those.

On Goetze, I'd prefer him to stay at Bayern if Ancelotti will give him a chance that Pep didn't give him, but otherwise, I hope he goes back to Dortmund. That attack could be so good. A front four of Reus, Goetze, Mhk and Auba is top 3 in the world. And then they have Pulisic coming off the bench to spell Reus, Goetze and Mkh. That would be so good. :)

If City get MATS, Liverpool should 100% go after Hart

Thats what I was thinking. Where else could he go? Hart would be on his way out, if MATS joins City. He's not switching Barca for City to have another goalie competition.

Chelsea doesn't need a keeper, Arsenal doesn't, Man United doesn't, Tottenham doesn't. The only two teams I could think of are Liverpool and Everton. Is Everton even a big enough club for Hart though? Liverpool makes so much sense for Hart, if MATS joins City.

Hart is better than Stegen, but Mats will end up being better in a couple seasons.

I don't think he's leaving though, talk here is that next season he will be la liga goalie and bravo will switch to be the champions goalie

Usually reliable source der Westen reporting that Dortmund are optimistic about keeping not just Hummels and Mkhitaryan, but also Gündogan.
