Anyway, I'd enjoy that transfer. It would be funny to see Bayern fans subjected to the same crap with him and his agent as Dortmund fans were, and even funnier to see Real spend 100M+ when they already have Benzema lol. Bayern definitely doesn't want to sell them but don't underestimate a greedy agent looking for a pay day.

If only Bayern had gotten Suarez, and Lewy had had an agent who would've let him stay at BVB; oh what a wonderful world it could be.

If Lewandowski moves this summer, who would be his replacement at Bayern? Maybe Zlatan for a season and then they explore going after one of the top CF's in the world?

Zlatan isn't going there. Doesn't fit at Bayern imo. I think Lewa's agent is just starting the haggling process early and wants the move next summer. Then Bayern can go after Dybala or whoever is available.

I'm wondering what will happen with the young Argentinian duo at Atleti, Vietto and Kranevitter....they're clearly not good enough for them right now and both most likely will be featured in the summer games. They could be loaned out in order to get regular playing time.

Official now, Alves leaves for Juve on a free transfer. Adriano is also close to leaving for Italy

Considering Lucho isn't a fan of Vidal's either, it should be interesting to see who they bring in as replacements on the back line. Hopefully Mascherano sticks around

Replacing what Alves did will be hard. People will probably rag on me, but at his peak, he was the best RB in football. I'd take him over Lahm 100 times out of 100. He did so much for their attack and was never really an anchor defensively.

Agreed. He was so good in their treble season. Huge upgrade over Evra.

Rummenigge himself stated the other day Lewa won't leave this summer. Not at any price.

There is a 0.0001% chance Lewandowski moves. He has three years left on his deal, he can't force ****. Bayern's front office already said he's not going anywhere. There are ongoing negotiations about an early extension through 2021 with a nice raise, and his officials allegedly talking to top teams fits well into that.

This is your typical badly sourced yellow press (or non-press) muppetry.

Seriously. How can anyone justify writing a post based on a goal.com article?

For what it's worth: "focus" reports Dortmund MAY BE interested in Mustafi to replace Hummels.

So, El Khelaifi has had a weird (IMO) interview today.
Said :
- he was disappointed by a "bad" season (they won 4 trophies)
- said they players weren't "hungry"
- said they weren't mentally prepared properly (see Blanc in coaching carousel thread soon)
- said Aurier isn't going anywhere until proven guilty of something.

And PSG are desperatly trying to sign Ikone before Juve officially gets him.

I can understand being disappointing by not making it further in the CL, but it seems a little odd to call it a "bad" season when they lost a grand total of 4 games all year.

Domestically, they lost at Lyon and home to Monaco at a time when the league was already well in the bag.

Continentally, they drew Real Madrid at home, and lost 1-0 to them away in the group stage. The rest of the group was fairly straight forward with wins against Shakhtar and Malmo. Then they fairly routinely dispatched Chelsea, winning both home and away. Then they drew home against City and lost away.

Any truth about the french report saying Paris going hard after P. Coutinho? They sure could use a skilled '10' like him. I wonder if they would still keep Lucas if they indeed bring Coutinho.

Hope they bring another CF, not high on Cavani.

Saw something this morning about a 46m€ bid for Coutinho from Paris

Coutinho is like 10 times the player Lucas is.

I can see Coutinho making sense for PSG but they'd have to change their formation for it to work.

I still cannot believe they lost to City. I know injuries/suspensions hurt them, but that was a really weak QF opponent.

There should be a lot of players leaving Liverpool this summer. I always forget how many players that likely have no future and were sent out on loan (Wisdom, Alberto, Balotelli, Illori, etc) that are now back. Should roll with a smaller squad with there being no Europe.

I'd be okay with the decision to sell Coutinho, assuming he wants to take that step up with PSG and play in Europe, and the fee is fair. I don't know anything about pricing players, but 46m€ seems in his range.

I've seen rumors that the price would be 8M including a buyback clause or 16M with no buyback clause.

Coutinho is the better player right now, no doubt. I wonder if they would move Lucas because I think his style is more suited to EPL than Ligue 1.

So there goes the Mustafi rumour a few posts above.

Why not both? Especially if Subotic and possibly Ginter and Sokratis will leave this summer in addition to Hummels?

Mustafi and Bartra have very different qualities as defenders.
