Meh. Just one I think. They won't sell Mkhi this summer even if he doesn't renew. I almost wonder if Tuchel will continue to re-enact the history of Guardiola's tactical development and switch predominantly to a style that demands less constant creativity from his 8s like Pep did with Bayern. Or maybe he plans to play Guerreiro as a midfielder? I'm watching some of his match film right now and he seems to have a good strategic mind and general technical ability. Tuchel tried Park in midfield once or twice early in the season, and might have continued to use him there if he hadn't been disappointed in his play. Or maybe Merino's inconsistent technique will improve under Tuchel like several BVB players did last year and he will see time as a midfielder?

Anyway, even if they don't sign an obvious Gündogan replacement, they should be fine next season.

Guerreiro as a midfielder could be very interesting. And I guys it depends on the quality of the midfielder you add. But of what I expect I'd like to see two of them.

Add in Dembele and that's like a full squad overhaul.

No, I think he's perfectly suited where he is. Maybe if there were another player on the roster who could fulfill his role but there isn't.

Watzke is not being cheap. Raiola previously said that the salary was very very good. He is being stubborn because he doesn't want the agent to control when the player will be sold. And with an agent like that, who would blame him?
