I understand why people don't like it, but when it's all said and done Klopp sees him every day in and around training and the fans do not.

This is also what, the third manager Sakho has had issues with? I know people like him as fans but they also don't work with him every day. There always seems to be something going on with him and frankly I'm with Klopp. They should just sell him at this point and move on; it never seems to be working out with him at Liverpool between injury, inconsistency and off-field stuff.

I don't have a problem with them moving him but they would need to sell not loan him and replace him to make it work.

Besides Mane I am pretty unhappy with the incomings this summer honestly.

I agree for the most part, but I also like Karius and I'm a fan of Wijnaldum. However if the midfield is going to continue to be imbalanced with someone like Henderson as the DM everyone is going to look bad there. I'd love to see something like:

Can
Coutinho - Wijnaldum
Mané - Sturridge - Origi

Or whatever.

ESPN FC reporting that Liverpool has rejected eight offers for Ings within the last month, including one in excess of £20 million.

Andre Wisdom on loan to RB Salzburg.

Rodgers and Klopp?

I don't see 3 managers.

As for Sakho, Klopp is the manager he decides on the direction of the team but fans are no fool and they know that Sakho was key for the UEFA super cup run. They also see a guy committed to the city and the community. I believe he should go for the best of his career but if the Liverpool backend don't massively improve that would be the first things fans and pundit will throw back to the face of Klopp. I have personally little faith in Lovren, Mignolet and Moreno as a unit. As for Milner he is definitely not a left back and he is IMO wasted there. Klopp on paper has not fixed anything defensively other than brining competition within some players.

Anyway I like Klopp and I want Liverpool to succeed but I have a feeling that this summer transfer were butched and not good enough.
Are Liverpool owners going broke or something? There are rumours about them selling share and they will most definitely end up with a positive transfer balance while their direct rivals would have invested significant amounts. It's a bit worrisome.

Yeah don't see more than 2 managers here. And one was obviously incompetant regarding defensemen (though Klopp doesn't seem like an eagle either).

Sakho was also pushed out of Paris and stripped of his captaincy among other issues that happened throughout his career there (and why he ended up at Liverpool in the first place).

There is some interesting stuff on the club's finances here

He wanted to leave when he saw PSG wanted Marquinhos. He was never stripped of anything.
Never anything wrong with his character in Paris.
In fact, over his career I can think of 3 things, all in Liverpool (left the stadium during a game, changed shirts at halftime and that Klopp thing). Big deal.

He went clubbing and slapped a journalist after a big loss.
He was benched by Ancelotti, stripped of his captaincy (before they had Marquinhos) and the director questioned his commitment calling him overweight.
He had issues with Rodgers and now with Klopp.
He has not been able to stay healthy, and he's been inconsistent at best with Liverpool.

A player can be as great to the fans as he wants he still has to be committed to his team, and he has to be good enough. Everyone talks about trusting Klopp but because of an overhyped defender they're all questioning him now. It's a bit funny.

Sakho's your best CB. There's really no doubt about it. So yeah... people are questionning Klopp.
He wasn't "benched" by Ancelotti because of character issues. He was benched by Ancelotti because Ancelotti doesn't start anyone under 28. All the same he wasn't "stripped of his captaincy" because of character issues but because Thiago Silva. You know.
So I'm guessing Varane has character problems too?
Please, don't make up some stuff. PSG had zero character issues with Sakho. Ever.

Director questionned what? Who are you talking about?

I'd love to tell you all smugly that Liverpool finally have a manager that's realised Sakho is dreadful, but he also thinks Moreno can play football so maybe not.

Hull go up to 14 senior players as they sign David Marshall. Something of a lateral move for him, really.

Well Lovren easily outplayed Sakho last season, and in 13/14 (in a different system obviously, though he, like most of our defenders, was dreadful in 14/15) so I don't see how Sakho is clearly our best defender. I also really like what I've seen from Matip and think he'll be better as well. Sakho is not clearly our best anything or any option so it's not a big loss to have him sold especially if Klopp doesn't like him.

Moreno is still a huge problem, but Klopp apparently thinks Milner can become a leftback so we'll see. He hasn't been out of place there yet anyway.

You whine that you aren't taken seriously here but that's exactly why.

You make up tons of stuff regarding Sakho (all that PSG stuff for instance), you have selective memory as well (Lovren was awful all of the first half of the season until end of december).

You're also the guy who posted articles pleading for Suarez's character, defending him to no end, saying biting isn't much of a serious matter, etc...
Yet you invent some stuff about Sakho's character.

You really like what you've seen of Matip? Fine. You like everything you've seen from Liverpool youngsters too. And you like Liverpool to finish top 4 every summer without ANY exception as well since you joined the soccer forum.

At some point, you have to face the fact everything is not going to the best in Liverpool and not every decision taken is the best.
Trying to loan Sakho "so that he proves himself" or he "won't play" isn't just a bad decision. It's a HUGELY ridiculous decision.
Klopp doesn't like him/his character/his footballing qualities? Fine, sell him.
Loaning him to "prove himself" isn't an option any reasonnabe manager would make and one that EXACTLY smells what was written in the french press : Klopp is angry at Sakho because he felt diminished in his authority by Sakho's playful joke in front of the cameras. Power struggle, that's about it. You don't ruin an investment like that. He wants Sakho to be the one rejecting all the loans to the small clubs so that he doesn't bear the responsability of him not playing. And of course, he is afraid to sell his best CB because of the fans (and likely Pool officials too). So he threatens him with the bench in the most stupid style.

"Accept a loan to Stoke and prove yourself or you'll be benched".
Seriously? That's 4 year old stuff.

I actually said I would prefer to sell him.

None of what I said I made up, in fact a simple google search (or even just look at his wikipedia which has all the sources) will verify all that I said.

There's no selective memory, but you blindly defend Sakho to no end (unsurprisingly). Look at your irrational reactions to this entire conversation.

Suarez's issues were all on the pitch not off it and really aren't relevant to this. I'm putting my trust in Klopp as he's the manager and he has a lot more experience than you or me. I like Sakho, but I'm also fine with selling him because the team needs less circus and he's not proven himself indispensable to the club.

No made up stuff?
PLEASE link me to his PSG character problems.
Tell me how he was booted out of PSG.
Tell me how he was questionned by a "director" that doesn't exist.
Tell me how he was benched by Ancelotti because of his character.
Tell me how he was stripped of his captaincy because of his character.

PLEASE do or just admit you're lying.

Suarez's not relevant? No kidding? Of couse he's relevant. You CHOSE to defend the undefendable, going full crying mode with his wife and all that stuff. Seriously, you did.
And you DARE to question Sakho's character after that? Please.

I wouldn't mind Klopp selling Sakho, as I said. That's what a mature coach would do (well a really mature one would give him a fair chance, but anywa...). Sure, Sakho was key to sending his team to EL final, but that's fine if he feels he doesn't need him.
But there's really ZERO doubt Klopp is showing 4 year old character threatning to bench him if he doesn't accept to be loaned. It's really more than ridiculous. Complete embarrassment.

Atletico just made a 20M€ bid on Thomas Lemar.

Smart buyers they are. Not sure if Monaco will bite at that price though.
