Pu will be an interesting guy to track. He was low on the depth chart to start the season but worked his way up to #2 center. If anybody watched the Memorial Cup, London's top line (Marner-Dvorak-Tkachuk) basically monopolized the power play time.

With Marner and Dvorak (outside chance Tkachuk) set to graduate to the pros this season, Pu will be in line to inherit more ice time. I mentioned Pu as a possible pick for the Devils at #41, but most of the posters are too hung up on his lack of production this year.

But if you're ever looking for a sleeper, finding an underused guy on a deep Memorial Cup contender is sometimes the way to go:

Granted, Dvorak was more highly touted before his draft year (to Pu) but he found himself stuck on a deep team during his rookie year before breaking out.

Pu did score 8 playoff goals, which was 4th on the team. Produced when it counted. I'm hoping the Kings can get another 2nd rounder or at least 3rd.

Looks like Blob McKenzies Twitter is blowing up again. lol. Has tweeted that the Flames are offering 2 #1's and Sam Bennett for Ben Bishop. People get all excited, until someone points out that it's not Bob McKenzie, but BLOB McKenzie. He posted a big trade in the last hour on trade deadline day and his page blew up. I agree with this post today..it will never NOT be funny. Beware of Blob.

Okay it ended up being right, but he still RTed "Blob McKenzie" which will never not be funny.

Since Swedish defensemen are all over the top 10 finalists (4 in top 9) for the Norris, I say go with BSDA (Best Swedish Defenseman Available) at #52.

1. Drew Doughty, LAK 1254 (93-37-10-4-3)
2. Erik Karlsson, OTT 1020 (46-54-27-14-5)
3. Brent Burns, SJS 619 (3-26-54-43-8)
4. Kris Letang, PIT 587 (8-24-40-40-19)
5. Roman Josi, NSH 120 (0-1-6-17-32)
6. John Klingberg, DAL 63 (0-2-2-6-21)
7. Victor Hedman, TBL 62 (0-2-3-6-15)
8. Ryan Suter, MIN 53 (0-1-3-7-10)
9. Oliver Ekman-Larsson, ARI 30 (0-0-2-2-14)

SO, CSB has 3 top rated ones:

JACOB MOVERARE 12 CSB EURO
LUCAS CARLSSON 15 CSB EURO
JACOB CEDERHOLM 16 CSB EURO

Anyone know much about these 3...and when (not if) 1 will be a top 10 Norris defensemen?

Cederholm is a prototypical Kings pick, haha.

Leader at every level, etc. I wouldnt' be opposed to him, I just don't expect him to be around long

But I'm also leery of guys who are drafted with limited offense, he'd be getting drafted as a shutdown D, and that scares me

Bit of a bummer to see others excited about Friday. Feels like the big dance is coming up and you don't have a date.

Man, can't believe baby Tkachuk is getting drafted. Yearly reminder of my age.

Chychrun too haha. Man kid has the voice of a 30 year old and a steel jaw

Listening to 1050 Toronto while trying to refresh HF over and over haha. They're gushing over Matthews comparing him to a Toews/Kopitar as a potential poster child for playing to whatever system works to win. Thought it was a nice nod to the kind of player Kopi is for us in particular.

Surprise from Columbus. No to Puljujarvi and Welcome to Columbus for Pierre-Luc Dubois.

Edmonton, think fast.

HF Boards keeps breaking.

Flames acquire Elliott from Blues for the 35th pick in the draft. (also 2018 3rd if he re-signs)
