So who can answer this. On generalfanager it shows Richards recapture penalty at 1.325 for another 4 years and on the bottom shows the settlement for next trillion years. After the recapture penalty ends in 4 years is he going to count against the cap at all or not ? Little confused

He has a buyout that runs for a long time in addition to the recapture.

Comcast does the SJ games so of course it is loaded up with the Sharks.

I'd prefer no national games at this point because they never seem to be on NBC and almost always get the other teams announcers on NBCSN.

Then 9 in 10 on the road around the Grammys, which is typical. Is it just me, or have the homestands/roadtrips gotten longer recently? A product of realignment, I guess.

I have a feeling this is gonna be a showcase Dustin Brown year. He's gonna be force fed minutes on line 1 and the PP in the hopes he can be traded or selected by Vegas. You're probably not gonna accomplish either with Brown on the 3rd line barely doing anything like he has the past 2 seasons.

Hopefully enough pucks bounce off Brown into the net this year that Vegas takes him. Somehow I feel the chances are slim.

Maybe a Brown for E.Kane trade? Buffalo gets out of the Kane deal and a well behaved/good work ethic team guy? Lombardi can just wait the contract out or wait for Kane to screw up enough to get terminated. Got my coffee, I'll wake up soon.

All about ratings, theirs a reason Buffalo has been one of the teams shown most frequently in recent years, and it hasn't been the quality of play.

Nothing screams character guy like E.Kane. It will be interesting to see how the league handles this latest incident in Buffalo.

4K? Some teams still broadcast in 480p and upscale it to HD. FSW still only broadcast in 720p. It has less to do with broadcast quality and more to do with US ratings.

Yup, but his contract is only 2 more year!!! A buyout would only last 4 max, and there's the possibility of E.Kane messing up and getting terminated.

Now to just sell Buffalo on Brown.
