A bit underwhelming game so far. Finns put some pressure in and Russia had a couple of open chanses but all in all the game lack speed and intensity.

Russia needs to score the back breaking goal, the goal that will kill the Finns' confidence and swing the momentum around. It could've been one of those two breakaways by Svetlakov.

Definitely looks like Finland dominated the 2nd, but it was partially due to the penalties by Russia and I think they are letting the Finns into the zone hoping for a counter. Thereve definitely been some scoring chances, but for the most part I think Russia managed to contain Finland fairly well. Colour me biased, but the most dangerous chances have still been the two short handed breakaways and both teams have hit the post.

Close game overall with lots of tension going into the 3rd. Just like a final game should be.

Bad calls from the reffs, but Russia needs to know that this would happen for the home team.

Russia dominated the game much more in the 1st than Finland did in the second, they have a lot more talent and I see them taking out the Finland in the 3rd.

Domination only in shots on goal stats. Other than that, high percentage scoring chances were quite even in my eyes (even through blue-white glasses).
