Definitely looks like Finland dominated the 2nd, but it was partially due to the penalties by Russia and I think they are letting the Finns into the zone hoping for a counter. Thereve definitely been some scoring chances, but for the most part I think Russia managed to contain Finland fairly well. Colour me biased, but the most dangerous chances have still been the two short handed breakaways and both teams have hit the post.

Close game overall with lots of tension going into the 3rd. Just like a final game should be.

I agree: we controlled the puck and had good cycle, but real top chances were few. But I'd call Kapanen's chance at the empty net just as good as those breakaways.

The funniest thing is all the Canadians in the audience who spent a bunch of money sure that Canada would be in the gold medal game.
