At this stage, I'm nonchalant. I'm tired of needing other teams to lose so the Bruins don't miss the playoffs.

Same for me. If the Bruins are going to be a playoff team then they need to win their own games. They need to go 6-2 and 2 of those games are Chicago and Washington where you don't know if those two teams will be resting players. Then you have an Ottawa team that they have not been able to beat and a Tampa team that just embarrassed them.

I have lost hope but maybe they will surprise me.

Good to see the Pens take the lead early in the second. Refs were helpful at the end of the first with a brutal overturning of an Isle's goal on a coach's challenge. Isle's fans have to be pissed.

Lehner calls out what he perceives a preferential treatment for the Pens when suspensions are in play. It is related to Ristolanien's 3 game suspension. Of course the Crosby slash on Methot with no infraction called on or of the ice just adds to his point. Quote is from a story put out by a iBuffalo news station.

"Sabres' Lehner: Ristolainen doesn't get 3 games if he played for Penguins
Buffalo Sabres goaltender Robin Lehner didn't mince any words when asked about his teammate Rasmus Ristolainen and the three-game suspension he was dealt on Thursday

"People might not agree with me and that's fine but reverse jerseys and it's not three games," Lehner said after practice Friday morning. "Everyone, maybe not officially, but around the league, a lot of people would agree with me."

Lehner, of course, is referring to Ristolainen's hit on Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jake Guentzel in the first period of Tuesday's game. Guentzel left with a concussion and Ristolainen was given a five-minute penalty and game misconduct."

Ian Cole with a horrific turnover with 4 seconds left in the 2nd period to gift the Isles the 3-2 lead. When it rains it pours.

Think it was his D partner who gave it up...looked like Tavares held him with free hand tho to get the puck

If the Islanders win does that knock the Bruins out of the WC2 spot since they have a game in hand, even though the Bruins have more ROW ?

I don't think we can ever expect help from other teams...it seems like too often in the past few weeks the outcomes we have been hoping for have not happened,

B's need to take care of their own business...
