I don't know why some of you are under the delusion that the Leafs aren't a good team. They most certainly are. They are explosive offensively, and now Babcock even has them playing sound two-way hockey. If not for the 3-on-3 OT/shootout gimmickry they would be atop the division.

So... They have already announced a hearing for this hit. But, crickets on the hit from behind on Bergy the other night. I guess because it wasn't called boarding?

See this is why you don't want to lose for any extended amount of time.

Leafs fans are just ****ing embarrassing right now.

Look up top 10 annoying NHL fans. Leafs always on top. Heck simply visit the mainboard to see the number of leaf posts.

I do like their young players, l however prefer Leafs ongoing plight of loserism, homerism, and despair. Hockey universe better that way. :handclap:

gonna be honest, I think the Leafs are a team who will cause far more fits for it`s first round opponents than the B`s

It makes me want to gag....they can't just discuss their young stars on their own board, they have to say "look, see what we got!!!".

Just be glad you don't live near Toronto because it is force fed even when they are bad....now, it is unbearable and they haven't even made the playoffs yet. Be excited but don't gloat.

Fair enough. They have a hot goalie, clutch and grab hockey and possibly ref assistance

combined with a ton of skill, speed.

I won`t argue with some of your post but turning a blind eye to the talent on that team isn`t wise. They are very talented and I`ll argue, they can throw 3 lines over the boards who can hurt you, can`t say the same about the Bruins and if they were going to falter badly and get over whelmed, it would have happened by now IMO and they strolled into Columbus last night and were the better team hands down, watched from puck drop to final buzzer

My favorite thread was "Is Marner the most creative player in the league?". I saw that and said "Who TF is Marner?" and I went to the game on Tuesday and was actually watching him! He stood out about as much as white wallpaper.

They have come together faster than most if not all would have predicted. They are the poster children for teams of the future. Speed and skill in abundance and exciting as hell to watch. Will be interesting to see how they would handle a PO series (should they get in) when game plans, line match ups and the pressure of the situation takes over. As much as the leafs fane are ridiculed for the whole center of the universe mentality it is good to see the totally disfunctional organization finally deliver a product that they can believe in. Future appears very bright for them.

Watching Leafs game during Bruins intermission...

Comically weak interference call against NJ and Leafs score on PP...dreadful call

2-1 Carolina.

If the Leafs are going to get 3rd seed in the div, I can see the Habs trying to lose on purpose to meet them in round 1 as they have won the last 14 games against them. :help:

Sorry for the video post, wasn't sure if it was okay or not.

But yeah, go check out what Crosby got away with tonight. Literally took the top knuckle up of Methot's pinkie finger off with a slash. No penalty called.

That was nasty. They are saying his finger is "shattered" and he will be out for weeks.

The Pens, yes, but it would benefit the B's if Detroit beat Tampa.

At this stage, I'm nonchalant. I'm tired of needing other teams to lose so the Bruins don't miss the playoffs.

I meant the wings. Don't know why I wrote Bolts. Thanks.
