This series feels a lot like the Rangers-Ottawa series to me.

Are you kidding?? If the Rangers had played at the same energy level as Nashville is playing, they would've blown out Ottawa and would have had a very legitimate shot at winning the Stanley Cup. Hate to say it, but our team just doesn't show up 100% of the time.

Hate to say it, but the "They aren't giving 100%" narrative is BS. Just because the other team was better, or had more momentum, doesn't mean our players weren't giving 100%. These are professionals, playing in the best league in the world. They give 100% every game.

not based on the 'look like you give a poop'/60 stat

Again you're confusing mental fortitude with something different in this case physical toughness. You put too much stock in the fact they are talented professional athletes and ignore them being just as human as everyone else.

Regardless it's a pointless conversation to have especially with someone wearing rose colored glasses.

The only pointless part of this conversation is that you have made an assertion that you are incapable of offering any evidence of, let alone proof.

Fans calling professional athletes weak of mind is stupid and pathetic.

Knoblauch (Erie) and Thompson (Windsor) got hired by the Flyers and Vegas, respectively, today. Two of the best OHL coaches that should start making waves in the NHL soon.

Not that happy about Thompson because he was huge for Sean Day's development after the trade.

Yeah sadly it's the truth, too many passengers. Hope Nashville can figure out the Pens in Pittsburgh, but felt they outplayed them Game 1, and should have won that game. But that's Hockey for you.

So, Girardi, Staal, and Holden would have played at the level of Subban, Josi, and Ellis if only they had shown more energy?

This sports stuff is oh so simple.

He was a top 2nd baseman in the league for basically a decade.

yeah...like what Chief Ranger said....until he forgot how to play defense....i remember a stretch where every throw he made to first gave me a scare..even the simplest throws would go helter skelter.
