Who will be Sweden's starting goalie and backup? I've read in some places it'll be Soderstrom and others say it'll be Sandstrom.

Nylander - Nylander - Lindblom
Kempe - Holmstrom - Eriksson Ek
Asplund - Forsbacka - Timashov
Grundström - Ehn - Lööke
Karlsson

Forsling - Lagesson
Larsson - Pettersson
Englund - Ollas Mattsson
Carlsson

Aho injury was not an accident, it was on purpose from the canadiens. As usual.

Did the Habs perform some voodoo magic on him? How despicable, although I am having a tough time discerning a motive. Perhaps you could help with that.

I think you need at least one (i would prefer 2) good puck moving d-men on the ice the whole time execpt for in BP off course. Hockey is very much about momentum so it is importent to have skillfull players even in the deph roles. That is usually what seperates the big team and the smaller teams, the smaller can have a couple of good players, but the bigger team have better deph. If Denmark last year could have filled the whole team with Ehlers clones they would have stand a far bigger chance of going longer in the tournament.

Forsling fits well in PP, but I do not know about 5vs5. There I think a Kylington in good form would add more. Kylington was horrible at the second half of last season, but seems to do good in ahl now going by what the calgary fans writes, and he has preformed well in U20 this season. Either way, it is room for both.

I have seen Kylington a few times this year in person and even more on TV, and I can't see how he doesn't add to the Swedish roster. He has played remarkably well for a 18 year old in the AHL and outside of the obvious deficiency in overall strength is, in my not so humble opinion, a fairly large upgrade on the olympic ice with his excellent average skating ability. He has been very good for a craptastic Stockton team.

I am personally hoping to see Linus in nets, but either he or Felix will not be the weak link for the team.

B/c Alex is a smaller clone of William and it was pretty obvious that the cancelled each other out yesterday

I thought William was trying to hard to get the puck to Alex on the PP yesterday. Almost like he wanted him to score instead of himself. Maybe he was trying hard to help get him on the team? I would want to see Nylander shoot more in the tournament which is something he has been doing with the Marlies. He has a lethal shot.

Well, its pretty obvious when you watch them actually.

Alas, earwax

I watched the game and they were easily the most dangerous line on a consistent basis. William was the best player on the ice for either team, so my question is what really do you want? I know it can be said that he wasn't shooting enough, but when he is the one carrying the puck past everyone on the zone entry, then it's more than likely the D is going to converge on him and he'll have to dish off to someone else for the shot, which is how it went down yesterday. He'll certainly get his goals, though. He needs someone with a high degree of skill to play with him and Alex certainly fits the bill.
