Who would do that for free? There's no money in it. Besides, tv broadcasters are supposed to pay for the rights to the organization, not the other way around.

This sport is already small and if IIHF had to pay to get games broadcast, that would be an even bigger joke.

FastHockey is not broadcasting it either unfortunately and the games they did were awful in quality compared to previous years. The streams for these u18s seem to get progressively worse each year.

Dzierkals has been stellar for the Latvian team. He was one of the leading forwards with the Latvian U-20 team as a 17-year-old and now he's consistently looked like one of the most skilled players on ice among both teams. He clearly stood out even against Canada.

If he doesn't get drafted and some random 2nd tier Canadian collegiate players are drafted in the later rounds instead, I think I'm going to blow up.

It's always tough to predict. I think a Canada vs US game would actually be a pretty close contest with the US winning. This Canadian group that is available is pretty good. But I get what you're saying, if Canada makes the same mistakes the U.S. will capitalize for sure.
