It's always tough to predict. I think a Canada vs US game would actually be a pretty close contest with the US winning. This Canadian group that is available is pretty good. But I get what you're saying, if Canada makes the same mistakes the U.S. will capitalize for sure.

Canada's play in the games I've seen has been sloppy. Surprisingly Canada's goalies have been the strong position this year.

I think the US will dominate but if our goaltender plays lights out, anything can happen. I don't think the US is as strong in goal though and as Buttons says "shoot the friggin puck"

He said that during a powerplay when Canada was passing the puck around far too much.

That was a very disjointed swedish team, zero team play, a bunch of really stupid penalties and no aggressiveness outside of Eriksson-Ek. Brithén isn't a very good match coach but come on, this is a pretty good group of player. a lot of them are pretty raw but they have skill and should have showed more. The whole tournament was just horrible for Sweden. Oh well, they're kids, they'll hopefully figure it out.

I guess it's useless to ask for svk-fin stream, right?
Two marginal countries of roughly 5 million people, neither of which have a local broadcast deal in place for this tournament (not sure for SVK, but that's what I assume)... Yeah, pretty useless. TSN seems to have the cameras everywhere but understandably, they cover only Canada's games. Here's hoping we at least get the highlights afterwards.

TSN is showing the Russia - Swiss game.

Dunno if it was mentioned yet but MTV3 is showing Finland's semifinal and medal game if they can beat Slovakia.

wow, what a game, after almost 30 minutes of play the shot on goals are 5:5. What are they doing?

Hoping for Finns, but keep up Slovaks!
