2015 Spengler Cup

Lugano roster is darn good ( klassen, petersson, mortensson, stapleton...) and a day of rest - avto is helpless
 
Game over, Lugano beats Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg 3-0. Tomorrow final Lugano vs Team Canada, my bet on Team Canada. But I hope my home team takes it.
 
Canada seems to have a thing for 6-5 scores in the semi final. It's been quite a few years (2007) since they won without a stacked roster from the lockout. Hopefully they can pull it out tomorrow morning

thing is though this is nothing new. Anyone who follows this tournament should know that the final is always at 6 am. I work overnights and don't get off until 7 am so I'm going to miss most of the game, I may be able to catch the 3rd period. Either way it'll be a nice kick start to a great day/night for everyone, between the WJR's and any games in the afternoon/evening and whatever plans people have.

Yup, I still remember. Timing for me is better this year at least. In previous years living in Saskatchewan, it always started at 5 for me. Now, it's 7.
 
Really to say i feel this tournament is kinda unfair in some way...russian or finland or for example sweden team playing first time in mountains and 1 game vs Canada lose makes it mostly impossible to win the cup course of 3-4-5 games in a row...And for swiss clubs in mountains it is much more easy to play 1 games really mostly for Davos.To play 4 games in a row is really stupid tournament side in my eyes.Much better will be old style tourney with 1 group and final or just play off with 8 teams and 1 day rest between games.Last Years Salavat was hardly standing on there legs in the final game same as CSKA the year before.For example even semi final rule is ok..... u lost group so they have 1 day off but hey after that in afernoon final game without rest it is a ********

Or even better way just third teams in groups going home
and we start from semi-finals

Nice to see him score. D'Agostini and Roy are probably two of our best offensive players and they've been pretty quiet.

But they stepped up at huge times. Roy today and D'Agostini on the game-tying goal yesterday.

Glass is playing fairly well, but he's getting really lucky. 3 or 4 posts already.
