Yekaterinburg overmatched from a speed and skill perspective, with young goalie Igor Ustinsky keeping it close. 14-5 shots for Canada in the first.

Avto is missing a few leaders, overall the game was competitive and watchable, not all spengler games are.

Canada had some elite speed with the likes of Conacher and Lombardi, but their lack of previous team chemistry really showed on the PP. 0-for-5 and they gave up a shorty.

Kudos to Igor Ustinsky in net for Avto. 21 year-old backup showed very well and has a bright future. Canada will lose against Davos/Lugano/Jokerit if they play as defensively as they did in the third period iMO.

I actually really like the Avto KHL jersey. The Carolina Hurricanes should replicate it.
