I'm going to go ahead and say that KOPITAR has never been on a line w/ TOFFOLI ever. I don't think they've ever started a game lined up w/ one another and boy did they BOTH look amazing. Not to mention that they dominated the 44 seconds in OT in phoenix as well. Maybe there's something there longterm! things that make you go hmmm.
 
Top Titty is so damn good, would honestly say he's a legit RW1

the only knock on him I'd say is scoring consistency at this point - if he manages to keep that up, he could easily be a 30g scorer even on the Kings

Consistency is definitely a concern for almost every goal scorer. Even without it, TT is definitely going to be a yearly 30 G scorer.
 
if toffoli keeps Kopitar going than leave those two together. Lucic is way better with Carter than Kopitar anyway.
 
As much as I think Kopitar is an incredible center, he needs the "right" winger to get going. The fact that Toffoli and Kopi could mess is a great sign. Carter, on the other hand, makes any winger look good with him. I wouldn't mind keeping Lucic and Gaborik with Carter when he returns, and having a revamped 70s line (the "7s-11" line).

Whatever works for the team.

Kopitar had a primary assist on one of Toffoli's goals last night, but Lucic did the work on that play. The other goal was a rebound, just Toffoli doing the work to be in the right place at the right time, and the other was a nice tip set up by Doughty.

I'm glad Kopitar is starting to put up points, but Toffoli finally got going again once Pearson was put back on his line. Once Toffoli gets hot he could be playing with either top line center and he would be scoring.

What's everyone's take on Gagner he produces 40+ consistently and maybe Dean and co can teach him some defense and we will have a speedy 3rd line that can produce

Okay, you are REALLY going out of your way to hate on Kopitar these days. It's getting really tiresome because you try to veil it behind reason but this is completely petty.
 
BTW, oil crashing some more today. The salary cap, it's not going up by much if at all.

$10M AAV contracts are stupid. That is all.

would rather claim Gomez as his cap hit is less however my main issue woudl be the contract/roster spot either would take up.
If Carter is going to be out for a bit than I owuld be all for picking up gagner and then waiving him once the team gets healthy again (assuming the amount of time/games required is reached).
