Wow you got sick team...I hope Czech beer and ladies will wear your team out

Well, they always look very good on paper - but the attitude has not always been there... Many a year it has seem like a nice spring holiday for Canada while the European teams are mostly deadly serious in preparation and play.

A poster said earlier that Pie's injured.

Does TC not want to consider Fleury? He's had a good year.

 Thanks.
Now with Hamhuis , we need one more guy at defense.
Tyler Myers is out too ? He is a regular in WC.

Who is available ?

In net, according to McLellan, Smith is the guy to begin with, and both him and Jones will get some opportunities.

They named those three fowards way too early. We're now having to take a pass on Tavares and maybe Stamkos. Ridiculous.

If Tavares is up to it and wants to play, then one of the younger ones should be cut, or given a couple of games while J.T. gets acclimatized. Stamkos is injured. Detroit is playing him rather well, exceptionally well, but there's something off there for sure.

They were too quick to put this team together. I doubt Tavares kicks someone else off the team to join it himself.

I think they could have 15 forwards, and rotate B.Schenn, Ennis, Eakin as the 13th forwards theoretically, not a big deal imo, when there is 7 games in group stage, so everyone of them would get 2 games at least. But the forward group is great as it is already, and I would quite like to see those three guys getting an opportunity. Rather let Coburn or Boychuk join the defence group.

Stamkos is not injured, he was on nhl radio yesterday and said he's in the best shape of the season, he's just not getting it done and there is no time for excuses

Ya, and he's not making excuses, ergo the public announcement of "I'm in good health". That's just hockey speak. I don't care what he says in public. My eyes tell me something else.

if players like Stamkos and Tavares want to go you just make room for them... it is what it is for guys like Ennis, Schenn or Eakin...

Man, Ennis is criminally underrated. He's not getting cut before guys like Toffoli or Couturier. Wait and see What the kid can do when he has some help and isn't the only thing a team has to game plan for. People are going to be surprised.

Wiercioch confirmed to be joining Canada. Guess that means Rielly wasn't cleared. Odd that he/anyone in the media didn't report this.

Considering Ennis scored 20 goals while surround by umm "hot garbage" he deserves it.

I'm downplaying Ennis here. I was just giving an example. I guess it wasn't the best example. the point is you have to cut somebody if guys like Stamkos or Tavares want to play...
