i feel sad for reway.
with age 20 years would play in the country where he is normally playing during the season, 50 km away from slovak border, so many slovaks will be in the arena...

Since our coach ruined everything this year from the system to player selections (leaving good NHL players out for scrubs like Tuukka Mäntylä), I'm rooting for Slovakian team as much as team Finland. I wouldn't even like to cheer for Finland because the coach is idiot but I cant turn my back on NT!

I have almost similar feeling about our coach This situation with Nagy and Reway seems a little bit weird to me. Nagy played full prep games and suddenly is injured, Reway is also sick all of the sudden and Vujtek won't even wait for him to recover but immediately scratch him of the roster. If Tatar, Jurco and Dano + Laco won't do some miracles it will be very sad tournament for us...

Technically not true. He already got injured infirst exhibition game against Belarus and didn't play in the second because of a possible concussion.

He is on antibiotics. The coach was already quite angry at him so maybe that's why he got sent home so mercilessly instead of waiting for him to get better.

That whole situation was strange. Reway was late like barely half an hour, he said it was due to traffic jam and he contacted the media manager to tell him about this. Vujtek said he didn't let them know.

Tbh everything that Vujtek has ever said or done regarding Reway gave me the feeling that he didn't want him to succeed in the NT and was looking for reasons to dump him.

Yes, it's known that Reway is a special case, but it is kinda curious that Bokroš who has coached him in a number of tourneys says he never once had a problem with him, Vujtek had a problem with him pretty much every time he played under him.

Last week Daňo flew to Vienna from the US on Thursday, then to Latvia on Friday and still was one of the better forwards in game against Latvia on Saturday. Even jet lagged Tatar is a severe improvement over several forwards on the team.

I won't be specific since they might be just that - rumors, but if true, he could use an educational ass-kicking or he is on the way tu ruin his career and not only his career.

Don't get me wrong, I like Reway, I love to watch him play and we sure could use him this tournament. But he should get his **** together.

Exactly, one coach could handle him. Unfortunately, Bokros won't coach every team Reway plays for.

Since you mentioned Palffy specifically, I suppose you heard the same rumors. I didn't hear them on hokejportal, though maybe it spread from there. And like I said, I don't take them as a fact, they might be just rumors, I don't base my opinion on them.

So what we know for a fact: Reway has had multiple issues with various coaches in the past because of his discipline which even resulted in him being kicked out of the U18 national team (for not even attending practices). A respectable coach says that he wanted him on his team but was warned that's it's hard to get him to attend practice as he prefers drinking. And then the strange issue with Vujtek. I don't care if he was only 30 minutes late, he at least should have let the coaches know and Vujtek says he didn't. Reway mentions sending some text to the "media manager", but even if true, why send a text to some "media manager" (who probably has nothing to do with it) instead of calling any member of the coaching staff?

Zaborsky was never really interested in the national team, Nagy is injured and Marcel Hossa is... Marcel.
