So, what time are people going to the Sunday game? Is there anything worth getting there early to do? I read about fan fest, sounds ok, but just trying to get a sense.

thanks! Lets Go Rangers!

im expecting to leave with my group of 6-8 from fair lawn, NJ to leave around 8-8:30am because we want to get there early to walk around the ball, i mean, hockeypark, so we can drink, eat, pee, etc. we are taking the train to secaucus into NY PENN then taking the subway to yankee stadium for an ETA of around 1030ish. it will be nice to take in the atmosphere and check out some of the fan BS and get some garlic fries

I'm not going to the game, but I still think the market will bottom out even more. Especially if conditions for getting to YS aren't the best due to weather.

With the inflated ridiculous prices, artic cold weather, poor view of the games, no special additional entertaining events, this may turn out to be the biggest ripoff for a regular season NHL game.

3:00 PM today is the cutoff for many (most?) of devils/rangers tickets listed on stubhub, after that half the listings are going to vanish and people are going to have to scramble to get tickets to LMS or find buyers elsewhere. Preferred sellers can list up until tomorrow at 3:00 PM for UPS delivery

Yup, I paid just over $200 to sit in the back of section 127 & hope to have a decent view. I know many of you have it worse. It is absolutely ridiculous that the only additional entertainment they have spoke of is essentially a big stadium series store.

At the same time it's easy to sit around and complain about it, but it's still an outdoor game in New York and may never happen again, or at least not for many years to come. I know I chose to attend before being aware of any additional entertainment. I'll get over it, dress up warm and hopefully have a blast. I've been burned worse.

I feel the same way and I've been burned worse as well. But it seems more and more like it's just a money-grab scheme by Bettman and Scott O'Ne'll (he's the marketing wiz I think the NHL hired from the knicks). That just leaves a bad taste in the mouths of true hockey fans and ultimately may hurt future outdoor possibilities.

Yeah, that greedy ******* should hear from some of us. To charge $229 for nosebleed seats and $299 for pretty much the entire main level is pure money-grab so they can blow it on sunbelt worthless franchises like phoenix. I would feel better if at least they share some of that money with charities. I will go to both games but in hindsight these prices are worse than any scalpers would charge.

I'm with you. I couldn't care less about additional entertainment or any other non-sense. But, based on how this has gone, and how the LA-Anaheim sales have gone, this Stadium Series might be a one and done deal. When I was given the chance, I bought additional tickets for friends, that had a chance to buy even more. Was thinking of getting them to flip, but decided against it as I didn't want to lay out the money. Glad I did.

If they ever plan to do this in NY again, have to do 3 things:

1) lower prices (haha, yeah right, ok you can stop laughing now, you don't want to pee your pants). If prices were more in-line with Giants tickets, I think more Rangers STH would have bought and kept the tickets for both games instead of the "attend one, flip one" idea which saturated the secondary market.

2) WEEKENDS ONLY. If the Devils game was Wednesday and the Isles Sunday, the Devils game would be the bigger disaster with tickets.

3) Bring in another market. Have the Bruins come down, their fans would travel for a weekend. Flyers, Caps, Pens, even the Habs.

My apologies if this has been covered already but went through a couple dozen pages and couldn't find it.

For both stadium games, which side are the Rangers gonna shoot twice at?

Thanks

I'm getting there around 10:30am when the gates open. I'm going to try to hit up all of the FanZone stuff and just enjoy the atmosphere.

Kinda feel like a dumbass for paying face to sit in the upper deck Sunday but what can you do.

Should still be a fun experience. As long as the good Rangers show up. Going with my 2 little brothers who are Devils fans (don't ask) so I better at least be able to get my fair share of chirping in.

nobody knows

Isles fan coming in piece. I was told by a season ticket for Islanders that Isles are shooting 2x on the 1st base side, this is what he was told by a rep.

Many of the dirt cheap seats are Bleachers and as most of you know they have no backs. The NHL dropped the ball prices where to high, they are def dumping tix on secondary market, I took got seats last wed for $65 total in 407b, I figure how much cheaper could they go.
