Jaakola with turnover like that (pass in the slot for opponent tape from the halfwall).. that is just horrible. Hope this kind of offgame mentality doesn't carry

I expect5-0 loss for Jokerit in next game regardless who is the opponent. It is mistake to go to tournaments like this unless you really go to play with heart. We are losing more pucks on desperate passes than my local 3div team.

Even when you enter the tournament where headcoach says we have to save energy/players means it wont end well. Can they come home already? :D

I enjoy this tournament a bit

I dont enjoy it at all. Playing with half lights. Comparing this to SKA - Dynamo game that is going in the same time on other channel tells you everything you ever need to know. It's not tournaments fault though, but Jokerit is doing nothing but losing pucks, playing with slow legs, trying too fancy stuff and generally not wanting to win enough, its pain in the ass to watch this show.

Im worried about this affecting the regullar season games. We were playing very good team defense and tempo before this tournament.. question is, can we get it on again after this kind of performances? :help:

OMG this is ****ing joke. This is how it ends up when you go to tournament like this. Just bench moses and omark and every one and wave white flag for next game.. I want the team out of this tournament. Bodychecking shouldn't be allowed in mid season tournaments.

Then you should not watch. ;) This tournament is meant to be fun, it's a tradition over the holidays. It's not dead serious competition, yet players and coaches are ambituous personalities, so they still compete. Some more than others that's why the intensity is of course not as high as in a serious league match - and Geneva is clearly trying to defend their title from last year. If Jokerit plays the same in their elimination game I will be disappointed but I'm sure they will put in more effort then.

Im not worried. This was just vacation.

Lol that geneve guy going for big hit 5second before buzzer.. **** this clown **** "xmas" tournament.

Yeah, if they just half-ass the tournament they shouldn't even bother showing up.

Sloppy play also leads to a high vulnerability to injuries, so it absolutely makes no sense to show up for some vacation and pond hockey.

I regret i even watched that game im so pissed atm for that half ass performance :rant: Props for Servette for the group win, deserved it.

I was quite hesitate about the tournament when I heard the news in the late summer. I think it's a great tournament but the problem is team could have used it for the rest, as the hectic khl schedule starts again next week. And it's totally true if you are not playing 100% you are just going to get injuries. Actually, now that i think about it, im not sure how jokerit's khl schedule would have looked like without Sprengler cup as the other khl teams play thru christmas break. So, maybe it wouldn't make that much of difference after all...who knows.
