Betweeen 4 and 8 games left in the first round. Half od the 2nd round players are known and we know one of the four series.

Why? What has Hitchcock done lately? He coached a terrible Blue Jackets team for many years, and now has underachieved in the playoffs with the Blues. A ton of first round exits and getting swept in the 2nd round.

You can ask the same thing about every coach who's been fired recently or who is likely to get fired soon. What has Laviolette done lately? What has Trotz done lately? Yet still a lot of people think we should hire him. If you want more scoring, Trotz is a bad idea. Yet people still want him here. I would like the team to do better in the regular season so that we won't always have to face the division winner, and Hitchcock has been successful there.
