We were never getting Scherbak or Barbashev unless we trade up. Hope for Kempe or Goldobin as best case at 33rd.

Barbashev would've been a great pick.

He's lower ranked, but I think he should've been ranked higher. He's someone I would've been happy with at 33.

Good? Sure...But Barbashev could be a GREAT player. I doubt the 3rd round pick ends up being anyone good, so we'd have to get a pretty good player at 33 for it to not be worth it.
