That was just luck though, as only the first pot was seeded by performance. The other pots were purely geographical. And I wouldn't call Mexico's and especially Costa Rica's group worse than the USA's.

they need to get rid of this geographical nonsense. if u have a ranking system then use it. the usa doesnt need to play an african team, a top european team, and another euro or south american team every world cup.

Mexico I can agree with but come on.

Honduras is in a group with France (same level as Germany), Ecuador (same level as Portugal) and Switzerland (arguably better than Ghana).

Costa Rica is in a group with 3 teams that have the potential to make the semi's. That might be the worst group to be in for a CONCACAF team

I can't believe the people in this thread defending Bradley. He looked absolutely horrible against Portugal, and in my opinion he should hold most of the blame for us not winning 2-1. He wasn't even trying in the end.

I admittedly know little about soccer, but I can recognize when someone is playing terrible. Bradley gave the ball away so many times, even a casual watcher like me can easily notice his bald ass turning it over again and again.

Another scandal match. Neither team deserved to advance. Uruguay with a frigging 5 man defense in a game they must win and Italy playing like crap. Italy was snubbed though, it should've been Uruguay with 10 players and Italy with 11.

Suarez needs to face a lifetime ban. That will never happen, because FIFA ****ing sucks worse than the NHL with discipline, but they ought to ban him from all competition in the next year.

Well they play the winner of the group playing in at 4. Columbia is going to steam roll them. Will be fun to watch. Italy played tactically wrong. Can't coaches learn that safe is death, time and time again? Best defense is a good offense.

Doubtful, but he deserves to be suspended for the next game.
 
I knew it looked like a bite when I was watching. It was tough to see on the mini-window I had streaming the game. But this is fool-proof evidence.

Absolute insanity.
