Not debating anything you wrote, just quoting for continuity.
It's looking pretty likely that we won't have a traditional top 6 on this team. But I like the idea of having a line of say Foligno - Arty - Atkinson who Richards tries to match favorably against other team's second or fourth lines when he can, with the goal of generating offense. In this case, I could see Arty really having a chance to boost his TOI and his offensive output.
If you had to number lines, the other 1B/2A line would then be Hartnell - Dubi - Jenner/Calvert who we'd want offense from but also would match this line against the opposing big boys (Crosby line, Ovechkin line, Giroux line, etc) as much as possible. So, they also would have a significant "third line" shutdown role.
I'm not sure exactly who will end up with Letestu - I think how the young kids play affects his potential line mates more than Arty's - so I'll hold off on that until I see how camp plays out.
