kudos to you CTKingsFan; you're the real thing. :)

Speaking of Bissonnette....

I waited for the player to get on the bus to congratulate them. And Biz stole the show, as he came out in nothing but his underwear and carrying his clothes. Haha!

LOL at Horvat beering Bartosak in his interview

So happy for these guys and all the fans and hope to see folks get rewarded appropriately. They really 2012 Kingsed their way thru the playoffs!

Barto and Roubs both got me, back to back.

What a night. Best of my life by far.

Awesome, enjoy the moment.

I've enjoyed your coverage of the Narchs this year so if you don't mind me asking are you going to be transferring out here to cover them or are you going to stay there and cover the Reign?

thanks

This is a beautiful, inspired achievement, and must be a great comfort and source of encouragement to DL.
The team looked passionate, structured, explosive and disciplined, IMO.

I believe they went 15-4 in their PO drive.
Very similar in dominance to the Kings' 2012 win.
These kids can play and WIN under pressure. They know how to elevate their games as opponents get tougher.
And they all play The Kings' System.

Even a couple of significant injuries (Berube, Schultz) did not deter them, including O'Neill, who took a licking, but kept on ticking,
and played a gutty final two games.

I like to see this Championship as a harbinger of future success.
The parent club is a little down and depleted right about now, but this win shows without a doubt ---- Help is on the way!!

A number of these Monarchs players will give the Kings what they are missing with the departures we have.
The arrival of these players in LA, which will take place over the next 12-18 months, will transform the team and bring us to a legitimate "phase two"
in the Kings' quest to continue their recent Stanley Cup run.

In the 2015-16 PO drive, several of these players will be joining in the Stanley Cup run, I would think, and will gain still more precious experience,
as they did this year in winning the Calder Cup.

Players like Shore, Dowd, Mersch, Kempe, Miller, and Forbort are almost certain future Kings. Weal could very possibly be. O'Neill perhaps also.

Guys like Gravel and Auger are "maybes", but look promising at this point.

Other prospects are still unseen in an AHL game, but Zykov and Brodzinsky are interesting and talented additions to the Kings' already well-stocked prospects collection.

Also, the Kings' #13 pick in the upcoming draft could possibly bring in another standout player who could join the team within 2 years
or so.

And one more thing -----With the phenomenal job Coach Stothers dd this year, all eyes will be on him and his team next season. If, in Ontario, he is able to continue this pattern
of winning hockey and contending strongly for the Championship, then he has to be looked at as a possible "next coach" for the Kings, when Sutter moves on.

Truth is, we don't just have playing talent in the AHL, we've got coaching talent there as well.

The future is bright. This Calder Cup is like adding a big new spotlight aimed at that future, making it all that much brighter.

two things that I have noticed, the Kings Org has stuck it to the Nucks Org again and Schultz has lived a charmed hockey life for being a borderline NHL'er, Stanley Cup and Calder Cup Champion who would have thought that.

Okay. Now I can post.

WE WON ****ING CALDER CUP!!!!!!!!!

And with that. I MAY have gone down in Kings fan history. I maybe the only Kings fan to witness both Stanley Cup wins and Calder Cup wins. (I was there in 2012 and of course, I'm here tonight)

if I remember right didnt you post about flying in for the game and I thought at the time that was pretty cool now it turns out you pulled off a Al Downing moment ....WELL DONE

Much respect CT, you pulled off what I could only dream of, I hope the Kings and Monarchs can keep winning Championships so you can add to your memories.
