You know things are real bad when people want Bordeleau back

I'm thinking about when Duchene said this was the deepest team he would ever play on. In his wildest dreams he never thought he'd end up centering a line with Nick Holden on it for a period.

Chambers article also said how Winchester gets dizzy at the Pepsi Center and even the grocery store, so not sure he's close.

Yea, that being the case it sounds like he's not even close to putting together the 10 days (or whatever the number was, can't remember) that Roy wants him to stay symptom free for.

Frggin Wideman. He was running around the last game too with some borderline hits. Guy is dangerous.

Bordeleau doesn't get enough credit IMO. He is a good 4th liner and people seem to love him on the team. Having a guy like that in the lineup can spark the others' play. I would love for their 4th line to be Bordeleau - Winchester - Talbot when healthy, that's a gritty, hard-hitting, simple playing line that won't scare the coaches to put out there so their top guys can get a rest.

But on the verge of Roy meeting with the press tomorrow and hearing who will play on Tuesday, I will guess Cliche and Street are back. The two people that I want the least to be back in the lineup. Not wishing for them to still be injured, just they're the least important and least skilled IMO. Chambers seemed to hint that Street and Cliche's injuries aren't serious, and I think Roy said that they would miss maybe a week.

Finally got an avatar too. Yay.

what a piss off we sign a player and get all excited about him and he doesn't even play 1 game this season. (Talking about Winchester) Bad luck

If you get excited about Winchester you probably dont have a very good team.

Hopefully we get updates today, the team has been gone for almost a week. He didn't skate yesterday so probably not soon but his injury wasn't severe so I don't think it will be too long, maybe within a week hopefully.

Nah, I was pretty excited for Winchester too. Gritty fourth line center who can consistently win draws? Every team needs a solid guy like that. Knowing that your bottom-6 won't drag you down is a big part of winning teams.

When the alternative is Cliche, I'm certainly with you. It just sounded funny what Frog said :)

Doesn't sound good on the Varly front... I hated him playing on back to back nights... Hate it more now.

I think the latest tweak came on the one glove save where he stayed on the ice for a bit.

It was a dumb move. Should have kept Pickard up and played him in one of the games.

He tends to do that a lot though. Every other game since he's been in Colorado I think he hurt something because he just lays on the ice with his head down after a big save. I can't tell if he's just being overly dramatic or that's just part of his superstitious routine.

Who knows... He didn't seem the same after that save, but it could have been nothing.

I didn't think he looked right the whole second game. Looked uncomfortable from the get go, and was skating very strangely. Even bumping into his own guys behind the net because he couldn't move that well.

I have a feeling it happened in warmup. TSN showed a clip of him making a very awkward looking save where he went down to his knees in a very strange manor. Then said he took a bump from Landy.

Guess washington wasn't kidding about Varly having a glass groin.
