Poor Amadio again--goal and an assist, team scores two goals, haha. 4th in OHL Playoff scoring, second in goals to Justin Scott, who has 14 goals 1 assist (lol).

Wow, Kingston down 3-0 in the 2nd round. That is unexpected. I wonder what the Kings/Reigns plan's are for Watson if his team gets knocked out tomorrow.

Also doesn't look good for Amadio, also down 3-0 in the series. Game 4 is Thursday.

I bet Watson goes to Manchester. May not look good for North Bay, but looks good for Amadio to go to The Reign if they don't go on a 4 game win streak. Hope he starts his pro career this weekend.

Unlikely. Watson will either go to ontario or they will just let him start his off-season. Teams generally dont send prospects to echl at end of year.

Kingston was eliminated tonight. Hoping Spencer Watson will join the Reign shortly.

Looking forward to it.

I keep expecting Roland McKeown to show up with Spencer Watson. He'll tell us the Sekera trade didn't happen and we still have a first-round pick to get excited about.

I can dream.

North Bay swept too. They got pasted 6-0. I'm sure we'll see Amadio and Watson in Ontario very soon.

Still nothing on LaDue? Their season has been over for like a week. I have a strange feeling he is going to hold out and go the UFA route. I know they said they were working on a deal but it shouldn't be that hard witheaded a ELC.

A national championship is a great way to end your college career. Plus, LaDue stagnated in his development this past year, from what I understand. It makes sense to make the move now if he's serious about a pro career.

Could always be something with classes and him wanting to finish out the semester before signing. It iisn't always money and hockey related with NCAA players.

Rumors swirling that he may come back to UND. Wants to do the FA route.

If this is true and he can't see the development the Kings have in place for their DMen, then I have concerns about his decision making. He just needs to look at Muzzin to see how the Kings set up their players for success. Then look at Kustin Schultz to see how a bad team rushes their players.

Not sure if I question his decision making because of this. I'm sure you guys are not the only team that does a fine job of developing Dmen. Here's what our beat writer had to say about the situation "2. Paul LaDue – LAK. The Kings want LaDue bad, though LaDue has a very unique option in front of him. If he signs now, it’s a two-way entry-level deal. If he comes back for his senior season, he can be an unrestricted free agent, who is not bound by entry-level restrictions (entry-level contracts are mandated two-way deals, where you get paid far differently if you are in the AHL). LaDue could sign a one-way deal out of college. This is very rare. The only two players who I can think that did this are Matt Read of Bemidji State and Matt Gilroy of Boston University. A one-way deal would almost guarantee LaDue plays in the NHL right away (as it did for Read and Gilroy)." http://undhockey.areavoices.com/?p=103024

I don't care what team drafted a player. I can't respect a player who pulls this crap after the years of time, effort and money were put into him by that team.

That said, we don't yet have confirmation that LaDue is seriously considering this option.

Fair enough and yes just rumors so nothing for sure.

Your beat writer should do some research. LaDue will still be bound by an ELC. All players signing their first pro contract are bound to it. Panarin signed an ELC and he was a 24-year old playing professional hockey in Russia. http://www.secondcityhockey.com/2015/4/30/8520667/artemi-panarin-blackhawks-signing-contract-2015
