Eichel and Tuch have ridiculous chemistry. Fasching had a nice setup for Motte, but the goaltender made a nice save.

Milano has a lot of Ennis in him, at least a younger Ennis. His skill is evident, but he has some serious mental lapses.

Larkin is really good. I see why Detroit didn't want to give up him and Kindl for Myers.

Relax, I'm kidding.

@SabresProspects - #USA Forwards vs Germany (8:00 pm ET - NHL-NET) include - Motte (CHI) - Larkin (DET) - FASCHING. Louis (CHI) - COMPHER - Hayden (CHI).
@SabresProspects - Auston Matthews will be in Buffalo for the 2016 draft. He just used his long reach on a wraparound to give USA a 1-0 lead on Germany.
@SabresProspects - Hudson Fasching bangs home his own rebound to give USA the 2-0 lead. Big body gets to the net. Fasching's first point of the tourney.
@SabresProspects - Another good period for Fasching. Aside from the goal, made a nice move to the inside to set up Motte on his first shift.

@USAHockeyScores - Sonny Milano cashes in on a two-on-one during some four-aside hockey. USA now leading 3-0 just under three minutes into the 2nd. #USAWJC

@SabresProspects - Milano and Compher come into the zone on a 2x1. Milano tries to get it to Compher, but the puck comes back to him for the easy goal. 3-0 USA

Larkin and Fasching are amazing. These two are exactly the type of guys you want in your team if you are gonna be a Cup contender. Works hard, tenacious, good on both sides of the puck. Leaders by example.

Got robbed...but sure like what I'm seeing from Compher tonight with more ice time.

@USAHockeyScores - Second Period Underway. United States leading 2-0 on goals from Matthews and Fasching. SOG - 22-5 United States #USAWJC
@SabresProspects - Milano and Compher come into the zone on a 2x1. Milano tries to get it to Compher, but the puck comes back to him for the easy goal. 3-0 USA.
@USAHockeyScores - Sonny Milano cashes in on a two-on-one during some four-aside hockey. USA now leading 3-0 just under three minutes into the 2nd. #USAWJC

@USAHockeyScores - Midway through the second period - United States leading Germany 3-0. #USAWJC
LaxSabre - Hudson Fasching called for interference - 8 minutes left in the second period. Germany PP only lasted 1:09 as Germany was then called for a penalty too.
LaxSabre - J.T.Compher with a steal in his own end - skated down the ice - pass to his Michigan teammate Dylan Larkin - who fed a nice pass back to J.T. Compher who was robbed by the glove of the Germany goalie.

@USAHockeyScores - Dylan Larkin goes hard to the net and converts via a backhand - giving the United States a 4-0 lead with 4:56 left to play in the second period.
@SabresProspects - Dylan Larkin (DET) comes down the right side and tosses a backhand at the net that deflects in off a German stick. USA leads Germany 4-0.
LaxSabre - Milano and Fasching on a 2 on 1 late in the period. Milano decides to backhand it - robbed by German goalie.
Should have fed it across to Fasching - would have been a goal.

LaxSabre - United States leads 4-0 after two periods of play. Milano and Larkin with the United States goals in the second period.
@USAHockeyScores - Through 40 minutes - United States leading Germany 4-0. United States Goals - Matthews - Fasching - Milano - Larkin.

Milano sucks

I haven't particularly liked him in either game, but the kid is catching far too much hell--both here and on the WJC board--for shooting on a 2-on-0. Seriously, I've never seen a forward ripped for not passing on a 2-on-0. :laugh:

It's not because of that. He genuinely just sucks. Was completely invisible in the last game, has done like 1 good thing all night tonight.

He's a worse version of old Ennis
